My youngest brother who lives in Australia came to visit us in South Africa for 3 weeks with his wife and two children aged 9 and 11. So during their last week in South Africa the rented a holiday house (near me) and I was blessed to spend a lot of time with him and his family as I had not seen my brother in 12 years and had not even met my niece and nephew. Throughout our conversations myself and my brother h had shared with me that he had a strained relationship with his son who was diagnosed with ADHD.
So prior to their visit I had prayed to my HL that I yearned to foster a good relationship with my niece and nephew. My nephew was instantly drawn to me. And I was able to spend some one on one time with him. just listening (he is very talkative) . I felt the presence of my HL as the two of us were just floating around on lilo,s (floating device) in the pool (I got sunburnt because I did not put on any sunblock : ( ) But it was a awesome experience just listening to him talk for over 2 hours. I believe that my prayers had been answered and that my HL let this bond form between myself and my nephew. So I just want to say as I know it happens in families that have been torn apart that relationships suffer, children suffer but people pray about those relationships He will turn things around.
One more thing that I would like to add is that I had been thinking of going for treatments to make myself look younger and prettier (but more younger :). But my Hl had told me that I am beautiful just as I am and I started telling myself that in the mirror again (as I had been through this before). When my brother greeted me and he hugged me to say goodbye before his departure back to Australia he said “Goodbye my beautiful sister” something he had never ever said to me my entire life (even in my youth and when I was more beautiful). Aaah the power of the tongue and the power of my HL thoughts toward me manifested in the words spoken by a non believer {yet} is a reminder that HE IS WORKING FOR US AND THROUGH US. You are beautiful Brides.

What a lovely praise! Firstly, I realize that kids with any situation or at any age need to be heard so that by listening we can make stronger bounding. I do believe that it’s a gift that He has given us to share with others: focus, time and closeness by hearing. Like He does with us.

Secondly, I had struggled with the same issues of believing I’m as pretty and beautiful as He said I’m. I’m sure you have that special and unique ‘thing’ that anyone else has, just because you are yours 😍
