Your "Assurance Policy" with the Lord of hosts.
Malachi 3:10–11, “‘Bring the whole tithe into the STOREHOUSE, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. THEN I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it may not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
FIRST, it’s important to understand just Who the Lord of hosts is “The Lord of Armies" in the heavenlies where the battle against you is being fought.
Ephesians 6:12 KJV, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
It’s why things like this occur that we’ve heard about, the walls of Jericho falling.
Joshua 6:20, "So the people shouted, and priests blew the trumpets; and when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city [Jericho], every man straight ahead, and they took the city.”
And did you know that science proved this was possible and can happen? The city was discovered. Though many say it was due to an earthquake, it was actually due to the sounds of the trumpet and where the city was located. Though Joshua was not a learned man, he simply obeyed what God told him to do, and without any scientific training. It was proven that archaeologist “found collapsed walls, not walls that were broken down from the outside but that had fallen down (Joshua 6:20). The walls had not fallen inward, but outward, creating a ramp of fallen bricks by which the Israelites “went up into the city, every man straight before him” (Joshua 6:20).
Hebrews 11:30, “By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days.”
Joshua and the men who walked around the city for seven days, and then blasted their trumpets, did so by FAITH. It takes faith to trust God with the 10% of your income—especially when you currently are struggling to pay bills and have been riddled with one financial crisis after another—such as losing your job.
Yet what’s at the source of this IS the devourer who’s been given permission to continue to rob you.
Malachi 3:8–10 tells us, “Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed Thee?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you!”
These are not OUR words but God’s word on the truth.
That’s why in each Encourager we have this available to HELP you.

Spiritual Milestone #1: Tithing ★★★★★ Testimonies
Testimonies are what God said would help us overcome the enemy, defeat the enemy, triumph over the enemy, conquer the enemy and ultimately—win the victory.
Revelation 12:11
NIV "They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death."
NLT "And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die."
ESV "And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death."
NASB "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.
KJB "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
CCSB "They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives in the face of death."
ISV "Our brothers conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not cling to their lives even in the face of death."
NET Bible "But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die."
ABPE “And they were victorious by the blood of The Lamb and by the word of his testimony and they did not love their lives unto death.”
GWT "They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life so much that they refused to give it up."
And to build your faith He says in Romans 10:17 KJV “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” This is why we use HIS WORD to help build your faith in everything He says.

"Your testimonies also are my delight; they are my counselors"— Psalm 119:24
Why do you care so much about whether or not I TITHE? My church never spoke of it, and many I know say it’s optional.
FIRST let us explain WHY we don't always accept the help of a volunteer, such as a translator—when we do need and want all of our resources translated into every language.
It’s because these women (or men) will meet great obstacles from the enemy who will try to stop them, and if they are also not tithing so that the devourer is rebuked, not only will they, but what they’re working all will be lost or stolen.
One Spanish speaking woman offered to help, but we had to care more about HER than what we could possibly gain from her help. Already she’d written to get help explaining that "my email got close and lost all my info" so already devourer was showing he was stealing from her. So rather than trying again to explain, we wrote back and asked her to make a LIST of everything else that has been lost or stolen (not just things but relationships, health, anything, and everything).
BEGIN THERE. If you’re not sure if the devourer does have permission to steal from you, and is not being rebuked by the Lord of hosts, begin to make a list yourself. At the top, you would probably list losing your marriage, your husband, possibly your home or even custody of your children.
He longs to give back to you, will immediately be stolen without the Lord of hosts rebuking and stopping the thief. The Lord told us, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10/
This is why we don't always accept a volunteer, unless, until, we know that woman (or man) is safely tithing to their storehouse.
In addition, we do our best to make sure volunteers don’t simply give a donation, but it’s an actual TITHE. And it has to be the full tithe, that's what HIS assurance policy states, and will be the only thing to protect any of us.
So since this is such a widespread issue, that’s why all of us agreed to come together and put together a short lesson for women who are wise enough and have opened their hearts to the truth. Women, like you, who we hate to see are soon—gone for good—once the devourer has stolen everything from you—to the point you no longer have faith or the desires you came here with.
All we can do is tell you the truth, but it will be your choice to trust and obey or not.
Cierra: I just want to praise our Beloved because I am excited about what is to come. One thing that I can personally attest to is that He always creates an opportunity with each opposition we face!! I know that He is always busy working things out for our good. My hope is that He will use this course as a catalyst to open the floodgates so that we can continue to EYT! Having a lesson devoted to tithing to call attention to this important principle is such an excellent idea!
Here is what God says to us:
Proverbs 24:11-12, "Deliver those who are being taken away to death and destruction, and those who are staggering to slaughter, Oh hold them back. If you say, “See, we did not know this, ”Does He not consider it who weighs the hearts? And does He not know it who keeps your soul? And will He not render to man according to his work?
The Message “I’ve made you a watchman for the family... Whenever you hear me say something, warn them for me. If I say to them, ‘You are going to die,’ and you don’t sound the alarm warning them that it’s a matter of life or death, they will die and be destroyed— it will be your fault. I’ll hold you responsible. But if you warn them and they keep on the same path anyway, they’ll most certainly be destroyed, but you won’t be destroyed. You’ll have saved your life and future.”
As ministers and women who are called to Encourage Women, we need to take this much more seriously than we have. Let’s be honest, as ministers we wouldn’t even DREAM of not tithing and giving offerings (personally and in our ministries) so we need to make sure that our students, our translators, and our restored couples understand and if they CHOOSE to ignore what HE says (it has nothing to do with what WE say) and not tithe to their STOREHOUSE, where they’re spiritual fed (not where they’d prefer giving to), then they do so at their own risk.
We need to CARE enough to put ourselves out there. It’s better to risk them rejecting us or thinking ill of us, then for us to know what their fate will be, what the devourer is about to and has been given permission to do to them. Do you agree?
Amalia: I do agree. I can see the consequences of what can happen if we do not give the first portion of everything to the Lord. And yes, it is not about us at all, The Lord has chosen us to spread the truth - His truth. Let's speak for Him 🙂 Anyway, His desire is only for us to be blessed and to live an abundant life.
Lota I agree and like ALL principles taught here at RMI, it is HIS truth and not about any of us.
Dana: I agree, too, ladies. And as Lota said, it is about Him and spreading His truths, and so we have to be bold and no longer timid.
Cierra: Yes, I too am in agreement as it is His truth that will set us free! He will give us the words and the vehicle to spread His message and being obedient to His call is all He wants us to do 🙂
Each of these [difficulties, trials, and emergencies] is God’s way of providing VESSELS for [OUR HH] to fill. [BUT ONLY IF] you correctly understand their meaning, you will see them as opportunities for receiving new blessings and deliverance you can receive in no other way. (Streams May 27)
Linda: I feel like tithing is one of the hardest things to obey at the beginning of RJ, especially when you have never really been taught this principle of tithing. But I know that I have been protected many many numerous times probably more than I realize because I am tithing. This principle was something I was not taught in the “church” or even by my “tithing” parents. When I was lead to let go of my church, one of the things I told my pastor was, I was tithing to this ministry (RMI). But he told me, that his church did not “require me to tithe or “give money.” When I had returned to the church with family, I read in the bulletin that “the church” does NOT require you to tithe to be a member.
Wow…. but they are not sharing this tithing principle with their members. If they are not feeding them, then they are allowing the enemy into the “church” and allowing the enemy to bring them down. This ministry has shown me so many things or principles that I had never understood or been shown before. One of the blessings I had received from tithing was being provided for. For several years along my journey, I was blessed by not having to pay rent. Like I had said before, I am sure that He has protected and provided for me many more numerous times, without me realizing it.
Yvonne: I agree with Leslie, I will SG in this regard. With me when I started tithing, financially it got worse, but my faith grew stronger every single day, Myself and my friend were just talking about this today, because there was a stage after I started tithing that my children’s school money was not paid and she told me that she thought I was crazy to tithe my money instead of paying the school fees. What I am trying to say with this is that the woman should be made aware that things will get worse for a while but even in this worse, the Lord protects us and gives us a peace that surpasses all understanding, sometimes even the understanding of other Christians.
Paula: I totally agree as well!! Many, many years ago when I was introduced to RMI I began tithing to my church but quickly stopped after being restored to my EH out of fear that he wouldn’t want me to even though he never told me not to tithe. I actually fell into the trap of trying to control my money to the point I manipulated my EH to do a monthly budget with me. I actually thought I was helping our marriage but instead, I forced my way as the leader of our home. Several years went by but eventually, my EH left again.
After he left, I submerged myself in the RMI lessons and immediately began tithing again but this time to my storehouse RMI. Shortly after EH left our HH even worked it out that I no longer had access to my EH’s bank account which turned out to be a huge blessing because I no longer could see what my EH was spending. After my second restoration, my EH then became responsible for our finances and became the one who would pick up extra shifts when he felt we needed more money. Tithing changed my relationship with money and more importantly with the Lord. Money no longer was something I tried to control but another area of letting go and living the abundant life that is worry free.
Adele: I agree too! This principle is one of the most important and so neglected by our churches and because of abuses in my country, so many people don’t practice it or out of ignorance or because are full of lies in their heads. We see the fruits when women tithe because we get sooo many PR about the faithfulness of the Lord and we can sense when a lady is faithful and how she is becoming more spiritually mature when she understands and put in action her faith and tithe. Even with all the difficulties we are having, we can trust the Lord about these ladies because he knows their hearts when will bring a bigger blessing through this trial!
Valerie: I am in agreeance also. I know growing up in church my parents tithed, but I don’t ever recall it being taught in a sermon. I also know that many times my parents put what they could, rather than the 10% His Word tells us. And when I was attending church, even when my EH went with, I/we never knew the correct amount...we just put in what we could. I see the many, many ways I’ve been protected and now provided for by my HH due to my learning this very important principle I have been taught since coming here. Such a difference. Also, I’ve had the opportunity to share this principle now with family members and close friends...some actually take it to heart and have been blessed, while others, not yet….but at least the seed has been planted. ♥
Ministry Note: Valerie has been restored for many years and is busy with her restoration baby and finishing her studies as an attorney. Even though she only has time to read the Encourager—she has yet to miss paying her tithe to her storehouse—so we are never surprised (only delighted) when we hear more good news sent from her mom who has been tithing to RMI for more than 20 years!
