Today, I am praising Him for something that may seem small to you, but to me it is huge. Except for my First Love, my children are second in my life to Him only. As I am sure is the case with a lot of mothers out there.
Well, last night we came home late from a surprise party, which I had a little navigation problem within the dark, raining, but this gave me the opportunity to teach tell my children, that He is also with us and even though we got a little lost, He had a plan and it happened for a reason.
So getting home, it is late and the next day is school for the kids, so we quickly get everything together so we can get into bed. I heard my little girl say: “Thank You dear Lord”. I turned around and she said, she was just wondering where to find her hair binder and He just showed her to look in a specific place and there it was.
Wow, my little girl thanking the Lord for something so small. It brought tears to my eyes, because she could have very easily asked me, her mother, but instead, she chose to ask Him, her Father:):):)
And you know, when I just keep getting back to this: Had I not gone through a divorce, none of these things may have happened. Now, when I look back on my divorce and everything that has happened, I cannot look at it in a bad way. I can only see ALL the good that has come from it.
So if for now you cannot see the any good come out of your crisis yet, love Him, obey Him. You will soon see the fruit after your faith has been tested:)
James 1:3-4 (NIV) “because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
Wow, when I was let to verse 3, I only now realized how appropriate verse 4 is: “Not lacking anything” Amazing. You do not have to be restored yet to not lack anything. The KJV version says: “wanting nothing” Well, if you already have your Heavenly Husband, you lack nothing!

On Sunday my geyser broke down and it leaked through the ceiling. Praise the Lord for my tiles that were laid the previous week. If not, the carpet would have been under water. His timing is perfect:):):)
So strange, when it happened there was absolutely no panic. I was so calm and phoned my insurance. Turns out I phoned the wrong insurance, I had to phone my home structure insurance, but in phoning the “wrong” insurance I found out that they have a home emergency service for no extra cost. So in 30 minutes they arrived, made a tiny hole in my ceiling and drained the water and also placed a bucket in my ceiling to catch any water leaking. So I did not even have to switch off the hot water and the tiles were a breeze to dry. Oh my dearest Lord, You are the best!!!
Then today they’ve come to replace the geyser and for no extra fee —they moved it to the outside of the house so if something like this happened again it would not be a problem!!!
He cares for me in so many ways and even with each trial, He sends a way out. Lord, You are awesome:):):)

Cancer Free!!
This week on Valentine’s Day, we heard the wonderful news. My sister-in-law is cancer free. Thank You, my dearest Heavenly Husband:):):)
My sister-in-law has been battling breast cancer and had a double mastectomy but this week she got the all-clear. No more treatments, no more tests, no more pills!!!
And what is also amazing is that my sister is planning a “giving-thanks” get together to give thanks to the Lord for what He has done for her. It is difficult to explain to you why this is even better because you do not know my family.
I grew up knowing that there is a God, but we never spoke about Him except in church. We never talk about anything that hurts us or for that matter any feelings at all. I am not very excitable, I do not jump up and down when my heart is bursting with pleasure because we did not grow up that way. So, this makes it all the more wonderful. When we found out, everyone was saying Oh, thank You Lord. I was amazed.
And as I am writing the PR, the Lord is bringing something to mind. A few years ago I had a 3 day fast for my family. Asking the Lord to bring them closer to Him. And look just look at what He has done.
Ladies, please be encouraged, He NEVER forgets and surprises you when you least expect it.
Exodus 15:26 (NIV) He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”
He is the Lord that heals:):):)
