Hallelujah! Glory to God! God has done great things …
I would hereby love to express my immense gratitude and happiness for the wonders that God has done and my life and family. At the beginning of my journey in the desert, when my wife left home and soon came to live with my parents temporarily, I talked to God and said that not only did I want my marriage to be restored, but my parents too!
We read that when Jesus was in the temple and preaching, the Holy Spirit directed Him and He said that God leads us in place that has “death” for us to take life. “The hand of the Lord was upon me, and his Spirit he took me to a valley full of bones. He led me back and forth, and I could see it was huge the number of bones in the valley, and the bones were, very dry he asked me: “Son of man, these bones can make a living? “I replied,” O Sovereign Lord, only you know it” (Ezekiel 37: 1-3).
I believe this journey He has called all of us to take, God not only wants to restore our marriages, but He will use us to bring life where there is death. I always prophesied that me and my house we will serve the Lord, and during many of my conversations with the Lord, I asked my father that he’d became the head of our home and become a godly man. My father was tied up in the sin of drink and therefore his marriage was going down the drain too. My brothers no longer respected him anymore, nor did it matter much to him. That’s when God began to work in his life.
I was called to 12 days of worship in the temple, where I spent two weeks of praise, worship and believing all these days. I made a covenant with my biological father to have him with me during those days, and he agreed. In these days of seeking the Lord, I could feel the action of the Lord in my father’s life. Then, during a service, he reconciled with the Lord.
After those days, however, my father had a relapse with the drink and drank whenever he could, which meant he fought and would say things that hurt us. Yet, I have not lost faith, even in discouragement I always believed that God works with His healing power, transforming and creating conditions to make the hard heart of a pious soft heart. “The king’s heart is like a river of great waters in the hands of the Lord, this turns it wherever you want.” (Prov 21: 1).
It was during this relapse when I saw this verse being fulfilled in my father’s life. He had some complications, high blood pressure and some ringing in the ears, and it made him reflect and start to really listen to the voice of God. For several days I spent the night in the hospital with him, but my father then realized that what he was experiencing was something spiritual. In the hospital, there was a group of brothers who were there evangelizing. The first time he was in the hospital with my mother, the same group of evangelists were there to evangelize as well. He commented to me that this had messed with him and it was an act that every Christian should do.
It was when he came to me he had gone into the church with my mother and reconciled with Jesus again with weeping. Hallelujah, glory to God! He said a prayer with me, and I was grateful as he prayed and thanked God for me and my faith. I am very happy and full of hope and expectations through the Word. If He promised, He is also able to perform! Then he told me concerning my marriage, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus saith the Lord GOD to these bones: I will bring a spirit come into you, and you will have life. I will put sinews on you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put a spirit in you, and you will have life. Then you will know that I am the Lord. ‘ ” (Ezekiel 37: 4-6).
God is Lord over all! I am thankful and praise the Lord for the transformation that he began to do in my father’s life. It is a process, and it takes faith and perseverance with joy. It was not by force or violence, but by the Spirit of God. My mother and I had prayed and prayed, believing that one day my father would be on this journey with us, and always prophesying that, “me and my house we will serve the Lord.” Today, I do not pray only with the heart of my mother, but also, now with the head or our home—my father!!! God is too good!!!

“The king’s heart is like a river of great waters in the hands of the Lord, this turns it wherever you want.” (Prov 21: 1).
God has the power to soften any hard heart, ruthless, tough, every kind, first with your heart and then with our wives! Keep believing that not only will your wife come back, but the glory of the second house is greater than the first.
“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former, saith the Lord of hosts, and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Hag 2:9).
Leave the past behind and move forward with the things that are ahead of you, fix your eyes on God and do not let the past ruin your futures. I often felt sad about times missed, but always God told me what He has for me (now), it does not compare with what has passed! “Always look forward, keep our eyes fixed on what is ahead of you. Look where you’re going, and your steps will be safe. Do not deviate from the right or the left; Proverbs 4: 25-27). “Do not say,” Why are the days of the past better than those of today? “For it is not wise to ask such questions.” (Ecc 7:10).
Many people have told me to give up, not to put expectations on the wrong hope, and for me to find another woman etc. And God spoke to me like this: “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11). “Because the king’s word (Jesus Christ) has supreme authority, and who may say unto him, What doest thou that keepeth the commandment shall be in the harm, and the wise heart shall know the time and the way; time and manner … for it is great evil that weighs on the man. “(Ecc 8: 4-6).
Brothers, Jesus is the king who knows what we need, HE is the supreme authority, not those who oppose His truth. God has given us a measure of faith and hope that will take place. We simply keep His commandments and believe His promises, and what we learn through this ministry that is totally based on His Word, and, then we will not experience any harm. “A wise heart will know the time and way.” (Ecc 8:5). The wise man does not give ear to the enemy. Simple pray and ask for mercy for your friends who say we are going crazy and that our hope is in vain. God is to be praised!
