Threw My Hands Up in the Air

♕ Today's Promise: "Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:8-9

☊ PRAISE from Yvonne

Sometimes it is difficult for us to get to a point where we just trust in Him. He brought me to that point this week and worked out the situation so beautifully for me.

These last few weeks have been quite difficult and if I have understood correctly what He has said to me, it is not going to get any better for a while. When I asked the Lord to tell me things I did not know, He surprised me with the strangest verse.

"Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:8-9

I believe the Lord has shown me that no matter how difficult things become in our lives, His grace will be enough.

The week when my fridge broke, it was just another one of a bunch of things that did not go according to MY plan. I found out that afternoon my fridge was not working, but I was just so tired, that I said to my Heavenly Husband, "Well I'm not going to do anything. I'm going to go on with my day and go to sleep tonight. I just do not want to worry about this. "

I went to bed that night and slept well too! The next morning the Lord reminded me that my nephew is a technician. I call him and they come over in the evening. He then said, if that's what he thinks it is, it's going to cost a lot to fix the fridge and it might be better to just buy a new one.

I could do nothing but smile and tell the Lord if this is what He wants, He will just have to take care of a new fridge. I may not have the money, but He has.

My brother's son came to get the fridge and took it to the workshop.

The next morning he calls me, the fridge is ready, he is bringing it back that evening! It was not at all what he thought. It was just a small problem and was not expensive. When I got the bill I was surprised. It was less than a quarter of what he initially thought.

Isn't it fantastic and through it all, I was just so tired, that I just gave it to the Lord every time I thought about it. I just threw my hands up in the air every time and said I do not want to worry about this, please solve the problem and my Heavenly Husband did!
