  1. Thank you this is so beautiful, I know in my own life for years I listened too to others in the world, trying to find my comfort in their words, but they only that could really comfort me is my Darling Lord, so now I believe His promises for me and He does want to bless me and I am so grateful for the many blessings I have already received.

  2. Thank you. I love reading this every year. It is such a blessing and every time I get something different out of it, when the author said: “Even Christians who love the Lord still question God’s willingness or desire to give them the desires of their heart, when His Word clearly says otherwise.” it just confirms for what He spoke to me about a few weeks ago about trusting Him in everything. Relying on His word and leaning on my own understanding.

  3. I had read this the first day posted and now today, today it brought me to tears. I agree with you that God wants to bless us. As you and Yvonne pointed out, even Christians who love the Lord can still question His willingness or desire to give them the desires of their heart. I can even get to that point if I am not with Him daily. When we find ourselves questioning God’s willingness or want to bless us, it’s important to remember that He is a good Husband who wants to give us good things.
    “Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him.”

    1. I love that the HTBB is posted each year and how wonderful to renew our minds with the principals.
      And also to be reminded of this beautiful fact that our Darling Lord wants to bless us because that is for sure His nature. Sometimes we look at the hurt and all we see is the hurt, but just behind the hurt, He is standing with His loving arms, waiting for us to run into His arms no matter what because He wants to comfort us and this was something I had to read now.

  4. I love the HTBB series and to be reminded of the principles each year. I is so easy to sometimes doubt in our Beloved Lord’s willingness to bless us, but these two verses are a confirmation that yes, He wants to bless us!!

    Psalm 37:4: “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
    Isaiah 30:18: “Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him.”

    This sentence stood out for me: “…you must NEVER doubt it (His willingness to bless us)—but it means being restored to Him first.”

  5. Oh what a beautiful Promise!
    “Therefore the LORD LONGS to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; HOW BLESSED ARE ALL THOSE WHO LONG FOR HIM.”
    He LONGS for me and I LONG for Him 💞

    This also stood out to me~
    “He wants to bless EACH and every single one of you with a restored marriage—you must NEVER doubt it—but it means being restored to Him first.”
    I do believe He wants every marriage restored, for He hates divorce, but I also know He wants me to remain completely His and wants me all to Himself and I love that about Him. IF he does decide to restore my marriage that’s completely up to Him. I belong to Him and He can do with me what He pleases. I want nothing more than to please Him. I just know that I AM restored to Him and no longer need signs or wonders to prove it. I am happy right where I am, alone with Him also. He is all I need. 😍

  6. His desires to us is so a great blessing.
    This first chapter of this series is perhaps the most important of them all. Our Lord’s character to want to bless us by giving us every desire of our heart is explained here so simply. Even though He hates divorce and sees Him, He loves nothing more than turning the hearts of the man and woman back together. . Does He love us even more because He is primarily a jealous God? And He does not want to see the narrow road deserted that brings us to Him. The intimate relationship you can have with Him can give you all the blessings that are waiting for you. This is a logical consequence. The more you pursue Him the more your earthly (former) husband will pursue you. Is not that great!!!!!

  7. lt was not my intention to read today’s blog post but l remembered how reading each new days blog post blessed me so much in the past and that is why l am so glad HE led me here to read this today 🙏🏼 So many things went wrong, doors that l thought had been opened were shut. l have been under enormous pressure and l hardly slept last night questioning Gods ability to answer and bless me, exactly what has been written in this HTBB which l have read many times before…. Each year brings a new perspective and coming to read this has helped me to understand and the answer was wrapped up on this scripture “Therefore the LORD LONGS to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; HOW BLESSED ARE ALL THOSE WHO LONG FOR HIM. 💖

    Like shared in the passage and Adina shared we must never doubt His ability to bless us but we must be restored to Him 1st 🌷

  8. In this year 2025, I say YES to this life, hand in hand with my celestial spouse, the One who is both my Creator and my Husband. I firmly believe in His promises and His infinite blessing. For years I did not fully understand what it meant to be blessed by Him, but today I know that 2025 is a year of grace for me and for my children. May this year be a living testimony of His love, His faithfulness and the abundance of His blessings in our lives.
    ~~~
    En cette année 2025, je dis OUI à cette vie, main dans la main avec mon époux céleste, Celui qui est à la fois mon Créateur et mon Mari. Je crois fermement en Ses promesses et en Sa bénédiction infinie. Pendant des années, je ne comprenais pas pleinement ce que cela signifie être bénie par Lui, mais aujourd’hui, je sais que 2025 est une année de grâce pour moi et pour mes enfants. Que cette année soit un témoignage vivant de Son amour, de Sa fidélité et de l’abondance de Ses bénédictions dans notre vie.
  9. How refreshing and encouraging to reread this principle on this first day of the year.
    As I read this first principle, I also found myself meditating on the promise my Beloved gave me for last year: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%203%3A5-6%20&version=NIV)
    The author said it this way: “Even Christians who love the Lord still question God’s will or desire to give them the desires of their hearts, when His word clearly says otherwise.” This came as a wake-up call to me, because it confirmed what He had spoken to me throughout the year of 2024, about trusting Him in everything, trusting His word, and leaning on Him, and not on my own understanding. Thank you, Dear One, for this opportunity to feed me and remind me that Your promises will be fulfilled and that YOU want to bless me, and I am very grateful for the many blessings I have received so far.
    Dear Ones, have an incredible week and year by His side, and may you be encouraged and blessed!🌷💕
  10. I love that the HTBB is posted each year and how wonderful to renew our minds with the principals.
    And also to be reminded of this beautiful fact that our Darling Lord wants to bless us because that is for sure His nature. Sometimes we look at the hurt and all we see is the hurt, but just behind the hurt, He is standing with His loving arms, waiting for us to run into His arms no matter what because He wants to comfort us and this was something I had to read now.
  11. A beautiful reminder that He is for us and not against us. Whether we look to people or things to bless us, it all falls short of anything we could ever have with our HH. This is why it’s so important to meditate on His promises to renew our minds and hearts with His Love and help to keep out the lies that we hear and see.
