There was No Need to Worry

β€œAnd my GOD shall supply ALL your needs (not me or you) according to His riches in glory…” Phil 4:19

Hey ladies πŸ™‚ It’s my daughter’s final year of school, here in South Africa we call it Matric, that is Grade 12.

There has been so many things that she has needed since school started.. stationery, matric jacket, study guides, extra lessons, t-shirts we needed to purchase twice for the grade 8 & 12 concerts, because she is on the student council she needed to stay over and help with the grade 8’s to practice for their concert so we needed to give her money for meals and soon we will have to pay for the ticket for her matric dance, her dress, accessories, make-up, shoes, hair etc. etc. It was never-ending…

I must admit that going into this year I knew that there was a whole list of things my daughter needed that we would need to take care of and it worried me because our financial situation is different with eh not working a regular job, he fixes rods & reels we have no idea when or how much income will come in.

So my praise is this! EACH AND EVERY TIME something was needed my daughters HF would provide exactly what was needed and how much was needed! HE even provided some extra work through the ministry which has been such a huge blessing!

My daughter told me that one of her friends mom told her that she could not attend the Matric Dance because there was no finances and that just made me so sad and really reminded me that having a poverty mentality is not good at all because HE provides according to HIS riches in glory! Not ours! I know I can depend on HIM in the coming months and I don’t need to even understand or know how He will do it because He will.

A lot of the time as parents we feel bad because our kids need so many things as our kids grow up and we think about how we will provide? It’s simple really… We cannot depend on ourselves but we CAN DEPEND ON HIM to provide for our children’s needs as their HF. So if you haven’t please go and read the Poverty Mentality, all the chapters are so awesome and I find myself going back to reading it over and over again to renew my mind because finances plays such a big part in life. It’s also very important for us as parents to remind our kids to go and ask their HF as this teaches them to have an intimate relationship with Him as well πŸ™‚

Today I also read the Living Lesson titled “Love Languages” and in this one I read about being content no matter where I am living or what my living situation is as my eh mentioned moving back down to the South Coast where we used to live and have more family and beautiful beaches but less work as it’s more of a holiday place along the coast, right now we are living in an industrial town where there’s more better paying jobs. But it really does not matter where I live because HE is my Husband and HE will take care of me and my family no matter where we are no matter what we need! There’s actually so much more I could share about this because in previous praise reports I shared about how we needed to move and how we found the perfect place and I wrote a PR about it but then it never came to fruition… and but now it’s making more sense as I type this…. but I will have to share more as He reveals the full picture πŸ™‚ or this PR will be very long LOL

“Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” Ps 34:5

So basically it does not matter what our needs are right now or what the future holds because we can be happy and content knowing we have the best Husband who love us so much and our children have the best HF who loves them so much who will take care of everything!

“But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.” Deut 8:18

  1. Our Heavenly Husband is so so Faithful 😍
I praise God with you Atarah…so lovely to read about God provides for us ….I am praying for great year for your daughter πŸ™ ❀️

  2. Thank you Atarah for this sharing this morning. Sometimes, when we face financial difficulties, we want to rely on our own plans. This morning, I was reading the verse about opening the heavens’ gates, and this lesson gives me even more confidence for the days ahead. I don’t have a full-time job, just a part-time job, and I have income from my earthly husband. However, with the opportunities from RMI, I have been able to make it through the months. Today, I have to go out with a cousin, and financially, I can’t afford it, but I trust her for this day.

  3. Thank you for this beautiful praise report precious Atarah. I just love when my Darling Lord speaks to me through a praise report.
My son’s tour money has to be paid (because he was chosen to go and compete for the South African Athletics Disability Team) and your post was such an encouragement now and off course a reminder that He will provide because He is my son’s Heavenly Father and HE provides according to HIS riches in glory! Not ours! And as we speak He is already taking care of it!

  4. Thank you Atarah for your testimony. Sometimes it is hard for me to get rid of that Poverty Mentality when I see the payments. This year my daughter turns 15 and I would like to do something for her. Our Beloved is our Husband and the Father of our children, and as always, He has everything under control. He will provide and it will be a year of prosperity in His name..And also, I know that He has a home for us, and wherever we go will be the best place because He will be there.
