Thank You, my LOVE!!

I have not submitted a Praise Report in a while but I have soooo much to be thankful for! I believe that it is very important that we live our daily lives looking for the blessings that we receive from our HH. A lot of the time it is so easy to overlook those blessings due to what we could be harboring in our heart or thoughts or even due to worries.

My HH has brought some things to mind that I am so grateful for. At the end of last year, we moved into our new home. I am very saddened to say that when I moved in all I saw was negative... πŸ™ But now months later I am seeing and reaping the blessings!! Thank You, my LOVE!! The kitchen and bathrooms are not so modern, that is the negative I saw... But He is showing me ways to make it look so beautiful!! I believe He wants to bring out my creative juices. Lol!

But OH how I am reaping the blessings of this home!! It has soooo much space! I remember praying that I wanted to live in a home that when I look out the window I would see trees and Brides, can I tell you my back garden has so many trees on the back boundary side that you cannot even tell that the back of my home is on the main road? Also, it is private, so much so that we are able to open our bedroom curtains and no-one can see into it.

He blessed us with 2 wonderful dogs as we have soooo much yard space and a lovely huge tree for my little son to climb!Β The front of the home also sits very far back from the main road which gives us even more privacy. Mostly I want to thank my love for providing the finances so that we can afford to live here!!!

I do not have much furniture as we always stayed in tiny places previously. I desperately need a dining-room table and a coffee table. So my Love provides! My EH picked up a wooden box that he is in the process of refurbishing to make a coffee table and here comes my BIG praise... you see I was happy to settle for a fold up table and was just praying for that with some plastic chairs... Well our HH always gives us the BEST, doesn't He? Well, the day we were going to buy the fold up table my EH tells me he spoke to a guy at a 2nd hand store that has a modern 8 seater dining room table AND chairs at a really great price that he already paid three quarters for!!!

I am so happy as my kids needed a place to sit for their studies and as I am in the process of teaching my four-year-old his letters and numbers and a place to sit down and eat as a family instead of sitting on our lounge suite and getting it all messed up besides having that mealtime together as a family.

I have been praying His word trusting Him to show me how to bring His word and love into my 2 children's lives. Every morning I listen to my Bible app with my small son who is still at home and what HE SHOWED me was to read a Psalm and Proverb with them. The great thing is that my 12 yr old daughter and I discuss what we read and it is helping her greatly in her daily life especially at school. Proverbs is great as it teaches common sense and good manners, self-control and a lot about the qualities of humility, patience, respect for the poor, loyalty to friends - this is what I read in the introduction of Proverbs.

Then we discuss prayer needs and each one prays. My 4yr old son is starting to pray so beautifully πŸ™‚ As I always pray to ask Him to lead and guide us he prays this too now πŸ™‚ It started with him following me in prayer.

Deuteronomy 6:5-9 KJV "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates."

Revelation 3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

Proverbs 29:15 "The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame."

These are some scriptures I have prayed asking my HH to please help me to teach, reprove and discipline my children.

Ahhhhh He is just so good to me! The love of my life!! The only ONE that makes sense, my Rock!

Jeremiah 31:3 "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."
