w@h “Make Your Everyday Life Easier”

Dear Brides, this Chapter 8 Make the Most of Planning Ahead shows you how you can make your everyday life easier. The more things we can do to stay organized the more time we can spend with our families and especially our HHπŸ™‚

Careful planning puts you ahead in the long run; hurry and scurry puts you further behind. (Proverbs 21:5 Message)

What this chapter showed me was how easy I can prepare myself for taking vacations or even simple trips to the grocery store. I like the idea of writing down my packing list on note cards. I like how she recommended when you return from a trip, writing down the things you wish you should of packed. My parents and I are planning a 2-week vacation this spring. And after reading this chapter I am going to start writing down the things I should pack. I hope that if I start early in writing things down then I would not have to spend my money on things that I could have easily brought from home. I found if I pack spontaneously then I always forget something.

I hope that if I continue to be more organized this allows me more time to spend doing things I like to do: reading or spending time with friends and my pets. Especially time with my "love" HH!!

Love, I am so thankful for this journey. I am thankful for the ways You are changing me. I love the ways that You have opened my eyes to Your beauty. I love how You are changing my heart like You are changing colors of the leaves. Thank you for allowing me to find somewhere to call home. I enjoy having my own space and quietness. I love how I can just come home and spend time with You. I just ask that You continue to help me let go of the things that are holding me back from the Abundant Life You have planned for me.

Help me stay organized in the things I can control and allow me to let go of the control to You for the other things that I cannot. I know that I cannot do this on my own. Please help me to follow Your lead. Father, I have been struggling with organizing my new place. I moved in this past March and I still have boxes everywhere.Β  I ask that You help me let go of the things that should not matter. Allow me to see the things that I need to keep and let go of the things that are just causing clutter. Lord, I feel like I need to let go of the things in my heart too that is just "clutter". Help me continue to let go to You. Help me be more organized at home but mostly help me let go of the burdens on my heart.

I do not have children but through this Chapter 8 Make the Most of Planning Ahead I can see ways that I may be able to help others who do have children. My cousin recently had a baby and I like the idea of writing down the things that need to be in a diaper bag. I hope that I can share some of these tips with her.

I like how this version is written. I feel like the more careful planning we do with everyday things the more ahead we can be for the days to follow. But if we have to "run" around and finish "yesterdays" jobs then the further behind we are in the days up ahead.
