I've written a praise report about my young friend Emma but in this one, I want to share in more detail what's happened since then!
I really have a connection with this young girl, mainly because she reminds me so much of a distant family member who my heart breaks for. At one point she shaved her head, has obtained several tattoos and is a soul desperate for love.
One day He gave me an opportunity to go to lunch with Emma and treat her to a nice meal. I had not anticipated the smoke-filled car ride to the restaurant. She'd suddenly pulled out a cigarette and asked if I cared if she smoked? Oh my!!! But as she began to talk there were so many things on her heart and so much this poor girl has gone through that I couldn't blame her for the cigarette! lol
She told me that her parents were going through a divorce, that her father has a deadly blood condition that he was healed from but signs are showing that it's back again due to the stress and the home is in chaos. While I felt she deserved so much more than what I could give her, I knew that what she needed was His love! Best believe I prayed through the entire meetup as I didn't have the words but He did and could speak through me. When we said goodbye, she kept thanking me for everything.
A few weeks passed and I heard her birthday was approaching. When I asked what she had planned she said she might get her nails done and watch a movie alone. I told her NO WAY that she would be alone on her birthday and that she must come over to my place to celebrate after my work!
God came through and another of my friends joined us as well. We had a cake, candles and, gifts waiting on the table when she came in! It was honestly such a blessed night and I saw this young girl smile and open up to us. You know what's amazing? I wish I could be nearer to my own family member but since I can't as she lives so far away —He's put this girl into my life so that I could do for her what I want to do for her!
I know that this is just the beginning of what our Beloved wants to do in Emma's life!!!!
