Hello Brides, I want to thank my Beloved Husband for His incredible ways, His love, and for being the amazing Husband He is.
In prior Praise Reports, I have been sharing more about my Restoration Journey, and today I want to share a great blessing He gave me.
I have been trying to move for a long time, but it was a little difficult to find apartments in the city I was living. This brought me a lot of despair because I kept feeling I was stuck. What I didn't notice at the time, was that it was not just moving from an apartment to another, but it was a change of the city. I loved where I lived and to tell you the truth I didn't want to go anywhere else, but that was not His plan.
When I finally got excited about the new location and finding a new house, I begin to get frustrated because things were not working the way I expected. Isn't it just the Lord, to bring us higher and higher?!! He always is working on things that we can't imagine and most of the time we don't understand!!!
I kept asking Him, did I hear you correctly? You asked me to move but I can't find anything!!!! Seeing that I was becoming frustrated with the search, He made me wait again, but this time, He wanted me to stop trying to do things my way, and let Him do it. Reading chapter 11 "Tarry" from Moving Mountains really helped me to completely let go.
I stopped searching for houses and went back home, I needed a lot of time with Him alone, my Husband worked in my heart, and finally brought me to a place of surrender, I then gave it all, I asked Him to do His will, that I didn't want to search anymore, that if He was leading me to a different place than I was looking at, that He would make it appear, He knew what I needed and knew what I looked in a house, and I would wait for His time.
Two days later, I was already going to sleep, when I felt Him lead me to check a message my friend sent. She shared a link with me to check a house and immediately I felt His peace, and I knew that was the house He searched for me. To confirm, my friend used the same sentence that I talked with Him in my surrender, that He was leading me to a different place.
After finding the house things moved fast!!! It took two weeks of preparation and now, today, I am in our new house!!! Yes, there is much to do, and things keep coming to make me despair, but He is faithful, and He is in control of everything!!
I can't wait to share more with you of what He is doing in my life, but I also want to encourage you to trust in Him, He has amazing things prepared for all of us.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
