Grateful for his healing hands

“The moon will be as bright as the sun, and the sun will be seven times brighter—like the light of seven days in one! So it will be when the Lord begins to heal his people and cure the wounds he gave them.” ISA 30:26

I share this praise to thank my Beloved for His healing hands. A few weeks ago, as I was getting ready to leave, my mom called me early to go see something with her. When I arrived, she asked me to check her foot because it was burning, and she usually couldn’t feel anything in that foot due to circulation problems and neuropathy, a result of diabetes. When I checked, it didn’t look good at all. It had a small hole and looked infected. I told her it would be best if she went to the doctor’s to have it checked out, and they sent her to the hospital to see a specialist. I prayed for something positive to come back, but she told me not to go in because she was to be out quick. She didn’t take long to see the doctor when she came out and told me, “The doctor told me it was better to cut it (amputate it) so it wouldn’t spread. She didn’t agree so he gave her medication for 7 days to reduce the infection, advising her that if it didn’t get better she should return to the emergency room to have the operation done.

My Beloved is Good. I prayed to Him for healing, as she was already distressed and worried. Her mother died of the same disease after having a toe amputated, so she is left with that fear. I spoke to her and encouraged her not to give in to those negative feelings and thoughts, that in this time she knows what or better yet Who she didn’t know before, and I have prayed for His healing and for Him to bless what she is using (home medicine) to heal that area. When she returned to the health center to have it cleaned, the nurse said that she thought it looked fine, so there was nothing she should do and send her back home. Since then, she has been getting better and better, and today she is much better, without infection, swelling or hole.

The Best Doctor is healing her, in the next seven days, both her finger and her faith made positive progress. All praises be to Him Who is able to do more than we can imagine.
