"To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey." Matthew 25:15
My dear brides,
I wish to express my gratitude for my Beloved Lord.
He has revealed my skills that I have been hiding.
I must admit that when I was reading the verse, I was only focusing on the spiritual talent, which highlighted the Pharisee Spirit.
However, when I met the Lord as my First Love, He made me realize that He also brings us professional skills. Some of us have culinary talents, authors, artists, and the list goes on.
I was able to get a job with my uncle as a craftsman, where he makes bags from dried Vacha leaves. I go there three times a week and earn an income.
He simply gave me the inspiration to draw on the Vacha bags. At first, I was like a disbeliever - I didn't believe in my talent as an artist. However, when customers stopped to look at the bags, I regretted having concealed my talents.
He taught me that He has given me talents and that I don't have to hide them or feel ashamed, but simply put my trust in Him.
Thank you for sharing precious Kateleen. It is so wonderful what our Darling Lord is doing in our lives.
It lets me think of this beautiful verse:
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” P139:14 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%20139%3A14&version=NIV
Dear Kateleen,
Thank you for sharing this beautiful praise. I am grateful that He also lets you use the talents He has given you. I learn from it to also see my talents as a gift from Him and to use them to bless others.
That’s wonderful to hear! It’s amazing how the Lord will reveal our talents to us and He will help you to use them for His glory.
