HE LEADED ME

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." PRO.3.5-6

My dear brides,

As I have often mentioned, the restoration of the house is progressing. Today, I would like to pay a wonderful tribute to our dear Best Friend.

It all started with a need: I needed a pressure washer. I had wanted one for years but had never been able to afford one. So, I came up with a little plan: to buy an appliance on credit at my usual store. However, as often happens with my little plans, it didn't work out.

One day, while I was going to pick up some paint, we went to a hardware store. It was there that my Beloved Best Friend sopped me in front of a small, affordable pressure washer. He guided me to this device, and I was thrilled that he accompanied me in this decision.

However, the first time I used the pressure washer, I felt pain. With my small hands, the vibrations caused tension in my arms. I had trouble sleeping that night, and the next morning, I knew that this kind of pain required rest but He led me to my son's room, who had a muscle pain lotion. I massaged my hands and arms with it, and in just a few minutes, the pain disappeared.

That’s when I remembered a life lesson we shared during our fellowship. He leads me, and it’s such a blessing when he knows exactly what to do and where to go. Sometimes, it makes me smile, because he tells me, β€œdon’t buy that” or β€œdon’t do this,” but I realize that he always knows what’s best for us.

He has this gift of knowing what’s good and what will help us move forward.

I want to thank my Beloved for your wisdom and constant support. Thanks to Him not only is the house transforming, but He makes every moment even more precious.

  1. Thank you for sharing precious Kateleen, His guidance is for sure the best. I know when I make my own plans it never works out like His plans for me, because He just knows better! I have made so many mistakes to follow my own plans, just to realize I must have asked Him first, but I am so grateful for Him teaching us in that way to included Him in all our plans.
