Today I just need to thank my Husband for the week I had my children with me, they went back to my fh (Kevin) on Friday last week and will be spending the week with him until this Friday when they will come back to me until the 3rd of January.
The schedule for this December, again turned out exactly the way I talked to my Husband about. He led me to simply leave the schedule in “Kevin’s hand’s” while I trust in Him to work it out.
While the kids were here last week, we didn’t do a lot, I took them to the mall once because my daughter wanted to buy herself clothes and my son also wanted to buy himself something, and He led me to take them one morning while we had 4,5hr loadshedding and I also took them for breakfast because I couldn’t cook anything, I have an electric stove.
My daughter had very specific clothing items in mind, and we found three of the items in the first three shops we went to, but the fourth item, a button-down shirt, was very expensive in the one shop. So, I told her that we can first go to some other shops to see if they had a similar shirt, but cheaper. We couldn’t find anything in about 4 other shops we went to, and I asked my Husband where we can go to find it cheaper. He led me back to the store where we first saw it and I followed His lead and went back, knowing the shirt was expensive, but my daughter said she will pay that price if it’s the only one she can get. So, she got her size and when we got to the cashier, she took out the amount of cash, but the guy at the till gave her more than half of it back……. When I asked him why he said that the shirts were marked down with more that 50%, but they still haven’t placed the sign on the rail to say that it’s on sale! I was in awe because even if we didn’t know it was on sale, He knew and I was able to tell my daughter that her Heavenly Father gave her the desire of her heart, minus more than 50% 😄.
I was also amazed when my son, while playing an online game with his friend, started to tell his friend that he is not scared of something they talked about (which I missed) because his Heavenly Father is with him and then he started to minister to his friend about trusting your Heavenly Father to protect you in all circumstances …. I was amazed because this is the second time, I overheard him talking to his friends during their online gaming about his Heavenly Father, the first time he told them how important it is to pray and talk to Him …. without fear and very serious like just a 9yr old can be! 😄
This praise just reminded me how GOOD He is not only to us but to our kids too!!! 💖 Adina you have been through so much with the custody of your kids and them staying with their dad & OW but just hearing your Praise about how your son ministers to his friends tells me that the spiritual lifelong benefits far outweighs the trial 🙌🏾💖
Thank you for reminding me about the lifelong spiritual benefits that outweighs the trail. Yes its true and I think sometimes we forget that our children also go through this trail with us and that HH also have a plan for them on this journey. What He is laying on my heart is that we must take our children’s hands on this journey and let our HH and their HF lead and guide us every step of the way.
How perfect it is that this conversation is about you, as an amazing mother, Adina, in the midst of all of this incredible maddening trial that word and rage or embitter most every other mother. Yet you are glowing with incredible “peace that surpasses all understanding”
