β Today's Promise: "You will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,β and it will move; And nothing will be impossible to youβ. Matthew 17:20
Dear Brides, what is the mountain that needs to be moved in your life? In this chapter, I have learned that sometimes He remove the small ones first to build our faith, then is when the big mountain is moved.
One of the things that encouraged me the most was to read that does not matter the size of the mountain, or how scary it looks like or how impossible it is to climb it, but the most important is what His word says, and it says that with God all things are possible. Is not I who will move the mountain but He will.
One of the things that happened in my life and helped me to understand better the lesson in this chapter, was the situation that I faced regarding my father's health. We discovered he had a genetic heart condition, needed surgery but the public hospital had a waiting line, and probably only next year was possible for him to do it there. Trying the other way around, the private sector had a very expensive price, and there was no money for that. To top it all off, I tried to go to my country to help but the flight tickets were so expensive that I could almost buy a car with the value, plus I was without my passport because before all the confusion I sent it to be updated.
I definitely didn't know what to do, or how I could face all these impossibilities. But when I stop trying to climb and trusted in Him, a place in one of the best public hospitals opened, and the surgery was scheduled for less than a week, there was no cost to it, before what cost thousands became free!! I still could not go to visit, but because It was not in His plan, to make sure that I obeyed, my passport that was ready since the day I send it to update, came just after my father was home and recovering from the surgery.
I want to continue to look for the small mountains that He moves, it will increase my faith to trust in the impossibilities of my day to day life.
Dear Brides, our lives are epistles. Sometimes we will be asked to live the impossible, so someone else will have the testimony that with Him all things are Possible!!
