I posted this on telegram but thought I should post as a praise.
I was reading the devotional yesterday and about 5 o’clock in the morning while still dark out I got a phone call from my oldest son saying he had wrecked on the interstate while heading to work. He had lost control going over a bridge, which is a little slick because it is freezing/icy here, he went into a ditch and hit a tree and probably totaled his truck.
I just wanna thank the Lord for keeping him safe (other than a headache, pump knot on his head, and his wrist hurting) and keeping others unharmed.
As I was sitting there in the dark, waiting to hear from him and my spouse that had went after him, the devotional said to shake off the feelings of doom and that the light will appear as the sunrise come over the horizon and to enter into His rest.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you” (Is. 60:1).
Get up with great anticipation and expectancy. Shake off the feelings of oppression, of doom, of foreboding. Arise and shine. Your Light will appear as the sunrise cometh over the eastern horizon. Are you there, with eager anticipation, to meet in an undisturbed quiet with Him? Enter into your “place of rest,” leaving all your troubled cares outside the door. He is waiting for you. Arise and shine, Beloved!
Thank you my Beloved for protecting him and helping me shake off any bad feelings. May this somehow be used to bring my child to know you and have a relationship with you. Seeing what the truck looked like, it’s amazing it wasn’t so so much worse. A lot of praise and thankfulness to my Beloved for protecting him! Just so grateful I was able to give him a big hug yesterday!!
Dear Hope, PTL that your son’s Heavenly Father protected him! A while ago I found out my brother was in an accident with his motorbike. He did not let me know but told me about a week later when we talked on the phone. At first I was angry that he didn’t let me know sooner, but looking back my Beloved Lord knew that it would have upset me so much while my Beloved was with Him and took care of Him. My brother did sustain some minor injuries and is still struggling a bit with his wrist, but my Beloved is taking care of Him and will heal my brother totally.
I was worried when he called but just thought he slid off the road a little. When I seen a picture of the truck, It’s amazing that he came out with only a bit of pain, bruises and scratches.
How great to know your brother is going to be okay and it was minor injuries. I’d say it was hid from you for that reason also. Prayers for His will to be done and a complete recovery resulting in praise to our Beloved.
I am so grateful that our Beloved Lord protected your son, He is the Best Ever Protector! While we were driving home yesterday after a holiday visit to my sister that lives down by the beach, the road was so busy and suddenly there was a burst tire in the road and when my son (that was driving in front of us) swung out, my mum also swung out and at that moment there were no cars next to us and I just felt our Beloved Darling Lord protected us and I want to praise Him that He kept us safe.
We must praise the Lord for his protection and guidance! He kept you all safe during your travels, and protected my son just days ago. Yesterday, a snowstorm suddenly hit, and my car slid into the oncoming traffic lane (thankfully, it was empty). I ended up on the sidewalk and into someone’s yard, but I was able to get back on the road and drive home. I’m so grateful that I didn’t panic; I only felt thankfulness for the Lord’s protection. It’s truly amazing to hear about these moments where His presence is so clearly felt.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful testimony. I’m so glad that He kept your son safe. He will use all things for His Good.

Dear Hope, it is a beautiful testimony that you share. I love how He helps you to throw off your feelings of fear and trust in Him! It is wonderful to read how He has miraculously protected your son.
The Sunday before Christmas my 92 year old Grandpa was hit by a car, he broke his pelvis in 3 places and is now recovering. He is also miraculously protected despite his old age. Now he can testifies of the strength he receives from His Heavenly Father to recover despite the great pain he experiences
Hanna, thanks for the kind words! It’s always great to hear how our Beloved is working in other people’s lives, and from the looks of these comments, He’s protecting so many of us! I’m so sorry about your grandpa, but I’m also amazed at how He is protecting him and giving him strength.
I am glad, Hope, that the Lord has protected your son, and that He was the Light, who took care of him so that he would not get hurt.
