โ Today's Promise: "In the Lordโs hand the kingโs heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him. A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart." Proverbs 21:1-2

Today, I want to share how faithful my HH is and protects me. My EH and I own a car shop and there was a customer that paid us for the repairs with a personal check. This particular customer we had done repairs for him before so I felt comfortable receiving this type of payment. Well a couple days later our financial institution said that the check had no funds.
I contacted the customer to make him aware of the situation and he said he was having phone trouble so to please contact his accountant through email. I did so and she said that she would look into it and get back to me. Well not to say too much details, they promised to do a wire transfer to our bank with the funds. After many emails back and forth, it didn't happen. The last email from them was right before the holidays and I knew many were on vacation including us.
My EH asked me the status of the payment and I shared everything with him. He was upset and said I would have to do all these things, including a strong email and contacting our attorney. I just listened quietly and said when he wanted me to do so, I would. Because the holidays were approaching and my EH was having surgery, he agreed to wait until after the holidays. I really didn't want to do all these things and I gave it all to my HH. I prayed that somehow He would make a way to get those funds before my EH would ask me to move forward with his requests. I trusted in Him and I even prayed if we never get the funds, I would be ok.
Well the day came where we returned to the shop and the holidays had passed. Still we had no funds and with a long list of things to do, my EH asked me to write a short email asking them for an update. When they replied and still not giving a concrete answer as to them paying, my EH gave me specific instructions to write about how disappointed we were with the way this is being handled and felt completely taken advantage of. This email was nothing like he originally wanted me to write, and I was thankful my HH protected me from having to do or say anything I was uncomfortable with.
The customer responded with a long email and his explanation of why we were not able to send the funds as of yet. As I read the email to my EH, I waited for his reaction and instructions as to what to do next. Now what happened was a true miracle.
My EH paused and thought for a moment, then he said to reply. I listened attentively and just prayed in my heart for my HH to guide him because I really DID NOT want to write anything like he originally wanted me to write.
My HH changed his heart. All of a sudden he had such compassion for this customer and told me to write saying that we were very thankful for his transparency to his issue. Also, that in no way did we want to add to his burden and to please take as much time as he needed to resolve this matter.
I was in shock, but praising my HH on the inside. After I sent the email, my EH said that if we never get those funds, he would be ok with it. WHAT?? My HH aligned his heart, to my heart, that reflects my HHโs heart, for us to trust and let go. There is nothing impossible for HIM!!!

UPDATE:
About a month after my EH let go and released this debt, we got a call from our customer. So he owns a Graphic Design and Media company. He offered to help us with any advertising needs we may have. We immediately said YES!! Our website was so outdated and he is creating a brand new interactive website for FREE!! Even though we never got paid in money for the job we did, My HH is providing his company to complete a service for us at no charge.
We were both blessed!!! And I canโt wait to see the final product.
