Today I want to praise my Heavenly Husband because His protective hand was over my brother and his granddaughter (5). When I got the call from my sister that someone had crashed into my brother and I needed to please drive to the hospital to see if they were okay, a million things went through my mind, but I ran to my Heavenly Husband and He gave me enough composure to find the way to the hospital.
My brother was hurt, but it could have been so much worse. His granddaughter (5) doesn’t even have a scratch on her. The person who crashed into them was running away from the police, so he crashed head-on into my brother at a high speed. The cars are both written off. I want to thank Him today for His grace, love, and protection.
The next morning my brother was still in the emergency unit because he has to go for an operation on his hand and they have a shortage of beds so we have to wait for a bed to open up. His wife had to go to the police station to report the case and all the administration that comes with it. Then my Heavenly Husband gave me time to visit alone with my brother and we had such a nice chat. We talked about the Lord, something we never do because it’s always a little awkward, but here we talk openly and I enjoyed it so much. Wow, I can’t tell you how it touched my heart. Again I could see how He uses bad things and have so much good from it.
Wow Yvonne, He surely did protect them from a situation that could have been much worse \o/\o/ And running to Him gave you the composure to find the hospital which I think can be very overwhelming after receiving news like this if we don’t have Him to help us and calm us down.
And what an added blessing that came out of this that you and your brother were able to talk about the Lord without it being awkward!

I am so glad to know that although I understood from your praise it was a very bad accident, your brother and little niece are doing well. He definitely is the best protection we can all have. Going through this kind of news is kind of scary but taking this as the opportunity for you and your brother to open up about the Lord is a million times worthy. (not sure if that is the best way to say it in English, but I am trusting my Husband you will get the idea of what I try to say) 🙈
I understand exactly what you are saying Poppy. It was such a blessing and even more because today my two sisters phoned me and we are arranging a get-together on Sunday, because I think we all realized just how much family means and how we should sometimes put our busyness aside and spend time together. I believe through this, He is working in the hearts of my family like never before!
Praise be to the Lord for his protection over each and every bride of his and their families. I am so happy that your loved ones are safe Yvonne! I am so overwhelmed that even though I am a sinner He protects even my heart from hurt How loving Father and a Husband we serve.
