β Today's Promise: "You changed my weeping into a dance, my garment of mourning into a garment of joy, so that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord, my God, I will give you thanks forever." Psalm 30:11-12
~ Ariele in Brazil
Dear brides,
Today I would like to share with you a gift that my Beloved HH (Heavenly Husband) gave to our daughter.
We live in a small seaside town, which can still be considered safe for, for example, strolling along the beachfront without any problems. Last weekend we were both at home when my daughter came to ask me for permission to go for a walk with her friend from school. The Lord has been, as always, a Wonderful Father and has put few, but good friendships in the way of my 15-year-old daughter.
I saw the joy in her eyes, as she rarely goes out, she is very homely, just like her friend. So, I allowed and took her to where her friend lives, which actually is not that far from our house, just a few blocks (remember I said the city is small and we live just a few meters from the beach). I returned home and enjoyed the company of my Beloved, my Love, my Prince.
She texted me saying that she was having a great time and that they were taking a walk on the beach. I was very happy because I could see the Lord's care in giving our little girl a fun afternoon with her friend. He knew what she needed.
But, dear ones, you who are mothers know how we are, don't you? When I realized it was getting late, it would be dark soon... and I started to get worried. I texted her, but she didn't arrive, nor was I able to call. I confess that my heart started to race.
That's when I went to talk to her Father, not the earthly one, but our Heavenly Husband. I said, "Honey, I'm a mother, I can't help but worry, but I know you're taking care of her. But, I ask you to please contact her by 7:30 PM." And I waited. And when it was exactly 7:30 pm, not a minute more or less, she got in touch, all happy, saying that the walk was a delight and that they even rode the Ferris wheel, which is on the beachfront, in fact, very close by here at home and asked if I could go pick her up.
I went and we came home, laughing and happy, my daughter talking about the wonderful afternoon she spent with her friend and I told her it was a gift from her Heavenly Father, because He loves her so much and gave her a beautiful and fun afternoon .
My Darling, thank you for being the best Dad my little girl could have. Thank you for that little treat she so needed, just when she needed it. How I love you, Beloved of my soul!
Dear brides, remember that we are NEVER alone, nor are our children. The Lord, our First Love, is ALWAYS with us and our children, just waiting for the right moment to bless us. His Love for us, as His brides, and for our children, His children, is infinite! Tears come to my eyes as I remember this gift He gave to our daughter, without even us asking, just because He knew she needed a moment like this!
My Beloved, my Beloved, thank you for loving us so much!
