I remember exactly when this first became a Love Song. I was in the car driving and listening to music and this song came on and then when the musician said: "Have I told you lately that I love you" Suddenly I became overwhelmed with emotion and I told my Love, "Have I?, Have I told you lately that I love you?" Then I started singing the lyrics and almost every word just resonated with me.

While in the afternoon I felt really bad about myself I collapsed on the sofa
I told him I love you I didn’t have at the time say I love you with such a deep heart to any man in my life.
Just the fact of writing it while listening makes me burst into tears, I told him I love you that my whole being burns … and then I heard the LORD say to me I love you too….
