I remember exactly when this first became a Love Song. I was in the car driving and listening to music and this song came on and then when the musician said: "Have I told you lately that I love you" Suddenly I became overwhelmed with emotion and I told my Love, "Have I?, Have I told you lately that I love you?" Then I started singing the lyrics and almost every word just resonated with me.

Yes Jewel, it often encourages us to look back and see where we came from and how much His love has changed us over the years. I know there is still much He needs to change about me, but seeing what He has done already I am so thankful and love Him so much for it.

Oh thank you Paula, you gave me goose bumps now. You reminded me when the children were young and finally in bed, I would sit in front of one of my windows and look out in the dark and just talk to Him. Now that the children are grown, I can sit outside with Him whenever I need, but back then I needed to grab the moments and they are all so precious to me.
