| My husband of five years just sent the divorce paperwork in. I've been standing off and on for our whole marriage. He's tired of dragging me through the mud and cheating on me constantly. His words. He says I'm not the woman he would ever be willing to change for and that he wants to marry someone who shares his life goals and dreams who he's more attracted to. I have never submitted to him truly in my heart. And spoke badly about him to everyone for years. Always trying to fix him etc etc. So here I am. I'm excited for the practical ways to let go and walk in this journey. Just in the past few months God has moved in my heart so much and I'm so excited and grateful!! |

Dear Bride,
I’m sorry to read about your current struggles with your marriage. But I am also so happy to hear about your eagerness to experience more of His Love. This is what it is all about. We as women haven’t got to experience a True Love, the only Love that will make our hearts soar. I would strongly encourage you to begin reading His word daily as these are His Love letters to you. I would also recommend beginning the courses at Hope At Last. Wake up early and drink a nice beverage pouring your heart out to Him. Soon you will experience a peace which will turn to joy! All of this has happened for a special reason so you can know Him. Once He sees your heart, He will begin turning everything around.

Dear Bride, I know the situation you are facing feels very frustrating, but with the Lord, there is always hope! “Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.You will increase my honor and comfort me once more.” Ps71:20-21
He knows what you’re going through and He’s working all things together for your good. This is an opportunity for you to grow closer to Him. It’s a chance for you to learn more about His love and faithfulness. It’s also a chance for you to start fresh and build a new life that’s centered on Him.
Even if your husband wants your marriage to end in divorce, almost all of us have been in that situation and we too have tried to fight for our marriages and to get in our husbands’ way and stop them. We need to get out of their way and let them go for a while. God can restore your marriage, even if you’re the only one pursuing restoration. Just be still and give all your concerns to the One who truly cares and wants to take your pain away.
