My Cup is Running Over

♕ Today's Promise: “Therefore we do not lose heart, but [EVEN] though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day...for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16

As I was reading the Living Lesson on is your cup half empty or half full, I cannot help but to agree that my cup is running over!!! It is running over with love for my Heavenly Husband with whom nothing is impossible. I hope that today as you read this and your situation seems hopeless, that you will be encouraged.

My daughter had to stay after school one Friday afternoon to practice for netball. And their dad fetches them every Friday afternoon after school so when he said that he loved me, he asked me if we can meet every Friday afternoon for coffee before the kids come out of school.

Now the Lord works everything for good and though I was disappointed that I was not going to see him that afternoon because of my daughter's sport, I still knew my Heavenly Husband had it all under control. He showed me He is working and all I have to do is stay on course and wait PATIENTLY on Him. When you see the end of the race is near, patience is very difficult. So the only reason to stay patient is to stay so close to Him that nothing else matters.

In the end, the Lord worked it out that not only was I able to meet my FH for coffee, but we were also able to spend the whole hour together with our son as my daughter was practicing. He was very distant and my flesh wanted validation, comfort, oh I am not even sure what I was expecting!

So that afternoon instead of saying thank You, my dear Love, for the time spend together, I cried because I did not get what I wanted. But still, in spite of me being selfish, He still comforted me. The next morning I read an RMT and was reminded of the lesson "They don’t have it". The Lord was lovingly reminding me that what I need I can only get from HIM and I should not expect it anywhere else. He never shouted, He never scolded, He just lovingly reminded me, as only He can.

When my FH arrived he apologized for being so distant. Because I was filled with love for my Heavenly Husband I was able to reply lovingly and not say anything negative. This would not have been something I would ever be able to do so you can know it was only HIM!!!

This weekend, my daughter again has a team-building clinic on Friday and Saturday and she wanted so much to be with me for the whole weekend. A while ago she prayed to the Lord and it touched my heart so much. She said I just want to be home for a whole weekend and the bible says nothing is impossible for the Lord.

Not only did He give her the desires of her heart, but He also showed me that nothing is impossible with Him! Their father will only take my son for the weekend which he never does!

Previously my FH would never take just one child, but by taking my son, it would mean that he wants to see me as well and not just saying, that both children can stay with me the whole weekend like he would have done in the past. And even more than that, he now phones me to discuss things with me, asking me what I want to do. Then telling me okay, I am going to send you a message asking this then you answer this. Where in the past what I wanted did not even matter to him.

But you know to whom it ALL matters? My dearest loving Husband. Who loves me so much that He cares to do these things for me to show me what He can do, to show us that He is capable of so many more things!! And that the Glory is His!!

I have no idea how I was even able to get out of bed before I knew the Love of my life!!! When He is all you long for, all the other things will just fall into place.

There are so many things that my Heavenly Husband is doing that I would love to share with you and it is all happening so fast, I hope to one day tell you all in detail just how amazing He lets it all come together!

The Lord showed me something in His word yesterday that I want to share with you. I am currently reading the Psalms and Proverbs in the New Living Translation and Proverbs 4:25-27 says:

"Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil."

Wow, beautiful, isn't it?

Then He reminded of the verse we all know:

"Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3:6 NLT

Now read those together.

Do you see what I see? Seek Him in all you do. Make sure that you stay on the correct road! Don't veer off course. Make sure the road you take is the one that your Heavenly Husband wants you to take and if this is the case, He will show you the way!!! He will make your paths straight!!!
