Lovely brides, I want to take this moment to praise my beloved HH (Heavenly Husband) for His goodness. I can always trust in Him to deliver me from evil.
Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve been afraid of night time. I believe it had to do with an incident in my childhood that occurred at night. I was particularly scared of sleeping by myself at night. My EH (earthly husband) was in the military and would be gone for weeks. I barely slept when he was gone and I would leave some lights on around the house.
After my son was born, I had an anxiety attack the first night I was alone with him who was 6 month old and barely slept. I sought help from a psychologist who helped me recognize my triggers and work through those anxiety moments. Needless to say, things got much worse because I had to confront my anxiety which I couldn’t handle. This added to the death of my marriage. All this time, I was not close to my Love.
When my EH (earthly husband) left, I had 2 babies. At night, I would turn on the alarm system, I had cameras outside the house and I had security bars on the doors. I also have 2 dogs who would alert me in case of an intruder. Yet, that first night, my HH (Heavenly Husband) was with me. I had no fear and I slept well. Once I started RYM (Restore Your Marriage), I had already stopped using the alarm system. Then, He had me remove the bars from the doors at night. I truly didn’t want to do it. I liked the sense of security. But I wanted to be obedient to His leading. I haven’t used the bars in over 3 months and He’s been my protection. I sleep at peace knowing He’s taking care of me.
Before going to sleep, while laying in bed, a thought goes through my mind most nights, reminding me that the bars are removed. Right then I start praising my Love for His protection. I repeat Psalm 4:8, “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.” What the enemy meant for evil, my Love uses for good!
Thank you my Love that I can trust you with everything. Thank you for your protection and your peace. I pray for all the bride that need to feel that security. Lord, lead them to You so they may live in your abundance. You are the most amazing Husband and I’m thankful to know you and live in your truth.
Bride I encourage you to seek Him and follow His leading, even when you don’t want to. There’s an abundant life waiting for you, if you will have it.
