Dear Brides our HH is Good! I had been going through some things pertaining to my EH and some things that he had spoken that caused me to get in my feelings. One day I was having a particularly hard day about the things that my EH spoke to me and as I felt myself start to get emotional my HH said “Who said what”. The tears that were about to start coming down my face suddenly turned to a smile and me realizing that I was trusting my EH and the words that he spoke to me and not my HH.
That ‘man plans his steps but God directs them”. It didn’t matter what my EH was saying because my HH is the one who has the final say in the matter.
“A man’s heart plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” Proverbs 16:9
Since that day my EH hasn’t spoken anymore about what he was going to do and like RMI teaches us I have not spoken to him about it either. Brides we have to remember that we are to trust our HH in these tests and trials. To walk by Faith and not by sight or even listen to the things people say to us that is contrary to what our HH says. Fear will come from the littlest thing and cause us to forget that He is in control and not the enemy who wants to make us think that he has all this power when in reality he as to ask our HH for permission to even touch us.
When you feel like things are getting too tough or that the things that someone is saying are starting to penetrate your Faith in your HH stop and grab a hold of Him and don’t let go until you feel his arms and comfort around you. He is always there and ready to take a hole of you when you need and want Him to.
“The fear of man is a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD will be set securely on high.” Proverbs 29:25
“Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.” Psalm 34:5
