While doing the lesson from Home Grown Ministries - Horses Hoped For my Darling reminded me of when I was a child and my sister wanted a horse (by the way I didn't want one because I was scared of horses). She begged my dad for a horse but she didn't get a horse because we didn't have the money for one, but in this lesson I learned that you can really ask anything from our Loving Lord and He can really do the impossible - https://biblehub.com/matthew/19-26.htm That is why we must teach our children to go with anything to their Heavenly Father and I know if we had known it at that time, my sister would have asked her Heavenly Father for one and gotten a horse if it was His will because He just knows the best for us!
Dear Brides I want to encourage you to please read Horses Hoped For, it you haven't yet, it really touched my heart.
In this lesson my Darling Lord reminded me how we must believe like a child and previously I felt there are things that are too expensive to ask from the Lord but in this lesson through the faith of children I learned nothing is too expensive or impossible for our Darling Lord and yes sometimes it does come with waiting but the Lord allows us to wait for a bigger purpose.
And he said: βTruly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. M18:3
GOD said, "Nothing is impossible with GOD!!" L1:37
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the endβit will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. H2:3
Please do yourself a favor and read this lesson, because it isn't just for children, it is for all ages and filled with so many promises that will build your faith. I really enjoyed every part of the lesson and please journal because it is of great value to pour out your heart to our Loving Lord.
Thank you Janine, I loved this lesson and my children loved it as well. Just like Macy’s Barn Cat (https://homegrownministries.com/hp/mbc/), I was able to use these short lessons to teach my children about going to their Heavenly Father and to ask Him for the desires of their heart, and then to wait on Him for the perfect time to see the fulfilment of His promises. And I agree, there are a lot we can learn from these short lessons as well. (https://homegrownministries.com/)
Dear Janine, thank you for sharing this lesson! I think I finally understand why the Lord loves little children. I’ve noticed how many times I rationalized myself out of believing because of the limitations of my own thinking and capability. βAs the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9
