I found my prayer partner and I give thanks to the Lord. I came to this Ministry in 2016 and I was immediately convinced and relieved by the teachings I found. But very soon I started feeling alone because no one around me understood what I was going through. I followed the Ministry’s advice and I asked the Lord to give me a prayer partner. But the Lord kept me waiting for years.
Then I began to thank the Lord because I understood that He wanted me to learn more from relying on Him alone. I also understood that I had the privilege of being accompanied in a special way by Him. It was His own strength that kept me up in the midst of the trials.
One Sunday afternoon, I read the testimony of a Spanish Minister, Veronica, who created a Facebook page called “Restored by Grace“. It was like a click for me. I realized that I could do something for others and stop focusing on myself. I thought back to when I had looked for help on Facebook myself. So I went back to Facebook, opened a new account and created the page “Dieu peut et restaurera votre mariage”.
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
I have not published anything of which I am the author on this page. All that is found there is the message of hope found on the French site and the various links for courses in French. My goal in creating this page was that the people who find it go directly to the website aidemaritale.com. I was not trying to make contact with anyone. I prayed to the Lord to use this page to lead suffering women and men to His truth.
For several weeks, there was no activity on the Facebook page. I think it was almost a month later that I did not visit the page, and the day I went back, I noticed that one person had “liked” all the posts and even left a long comment to encourage women to read the resources offered by RMI!!
I do not think anyone can imagine my joy at that moment. O my God, I was so happy to know that this Facebook page could have attracted only one person!! We were finally two people in the Facebook group! (lol) I blessed the Lord for giving me the visible sign that my page was being read and I posted a prayer for that sister. A few weeks later, she thanked me for my prayer and also prayed for me. Then we have not exchanged.
Isaiah 14:14 For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
Many months later, I thought in my heart, “You’ve been harassing the Lord for a long time to give you a prayer partner. He allowed you to interact with someone and you do not seize this opportunity! And if she was the one? Ask her if she wants to be your partner and if she refuses, you will continue as usual “. So I sent her a message and I received an answer about a month later when I did not expect it anymore. In fact, she had also stopped going on Facebook and she replied as soon as she discovered my message. She told me that she wholeheartedly agreed to be my partner and that she had also prayed to God for a long time to give her one. Hallelujah !!
She lives in Europe and I live in Africa. It is not always easy to arrange our schedules, but we try to exchange once a week. Our stories are different, but the most interesting is that we face the same challenges on a daily basis. We always try to put the Lord at the center of our conversations and what I love most is our moments of prayer. I believe that there is nothing more wonderful than to meet people who share the same faith and hope in the Lord as we do. I pray to the Lord Jesus for this to be the beginning of a long and deep friendship. I pray that He will truly use me to comfort my partner. I pray that my partner will feel filled with love and faith in God each time we speak to each other. May you Lord use my mouth to speak words of wisdom to her, because without You I am not able to do anything well.
