I want to use this opportunity to lift up praises to my Beloved who continues to perfect those things which concern me.
Psalm 138:8 King James Version (KJV) The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
My Beloved has been providing opportunities through different people in my life to make money from home ( washing clothes, braiding hair and some opportunities away from home, doing different things outside ( cutting grass, etc, helping with other projects for the home). Some of these things had begun to be regular. I felt the need to report this income, as I get assistance with my families housing and other things.
A concern crept in as I noticed that the opportunities slowed down and that this would affect me in some way. I lifted my concern to my Love and he showed me that he was concerned with what concerned me. Praise him!!!! Sometime after I got a call for a potential opportunity to do hair and then on another day I had an opportunity to wash some clothes. My Love worked through some of the same sources he had been providing opportunities through. You see there was no need there, the bills were paid and I had a little money in my possession, so I guess my concern was just in what was to come and he showed me that even he is in control of that.
2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Just another reminder that I canโt allow what I see to determine how things will be. I must continue to walk by faith even when what I see looks the complete opposite of what I think it should be. You see, seeing the money-making opportunities pour in regularly gave me a certainty but when things slowed down, a long stretch in between, it caused me to start questioning things.
There is a great need for our minds to continually be bathed in the truth. We must often remind ourselves of what the word says, and that our HH is in control, so that when things in our life look a lot different then what we would have them to be, we are still able to stand firm in our confidence that is in our Beloved and in him alone…..
Romans 10:17 King James Version (KJV)So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
When all else fails us, he never will….. Thank you Love for reminding me of that…
