Hallelujah!!! Praise The Lord!!!
My Love continues to bless us and provide for us. He spoils me with good gifts.
We have had very little food to eat lately. I have been making what I can with what we have. It’s been summer vacation so the kids are not in school. They are home all day and eating at home all day. They would complain that there was nothing to eat and we needed groceries. I would tell them that I know we don’t have a lot but we do have some. We need to not complain and appreciate what we do have because this is what the Lord is providing for us. I kept reminding them that our situation will not change until we learn to stop complaining and be content with what we have and don’t have. Trust in the Lord and He will take care of us always.
This past weekend I said to the kids that I wanted to get some groceries before school starts. I was not financially able to after all. But good thing My HH (Heavenly Husband) is rich and provides for us.
"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19
Today is the first day of school. Yesterday I said to one of my sons, “you know what I feel like eating? Chicken! We haven’t had chicken in so long and I feel like eating chicken today.” We were just having beans and rice for dinner because that is all I had to make for us.
Then my brother texted me that they are giving food to anyone in need at his church. I told the kids to get ready so we can go pick it up. I thought to myself, maybe they will give us something I could make with the beans and rice for our dinner tonight. But then I thought probably not because they usually don’t give meat at these things. It’s usually mostly canned food or dry food items.
On the way to the church my other son texted me that he was told about a food give-away for the college students so he was going to ask about it and see if he is able to qualify to get some groceries. I told him that’s great and I’m heading to the church to get some groceries too. Shortly after this he messaged me back saying “I’m bringing home some groceries!!” He was so happy to be able to do that for us and we praised God for what HE provided.
Me and my girls went to the church and when we picked up the food my daughter, sitting in the back seat with the bag of food they loaded for us and says “Mommy they gave us chicken!!” I said “really? They gave us chicken? Wow!” The girls and I started to laugh and kept praising the Lord!!
When we got home and the girls saw the groceries my son brought home too they were so excited. My daughter on her own said “Wow! What a blessing!!” It was the most beautiful thing to hear her say this and to see the smiles on all my children's faces and hearing their laughter and joy.
I always love to see when My Love reveals himself to us and provides for us. It’s so amazing especially when the children experience Him and can see what He does for us, always providing, always taking care of us.
I wanted to get groceries before the first day of school and He provided that the day before school started from not one but from two sources. I wanted to have chicken which we hadn’t had in so long and He blessed us with chicken. These are not coincidences. This is My Love blessing us in such a special way, giving us exactly what we need and giving us the desires of our hearts. I have to say again, the BEST gift of all is to hear the children praise God for our blessings, seeing the smiles on their faces and the joy in their hearts.
I am able to share these blessings with my brother and sister and also my oldest son who was not home. I love speaking about how good God is, giving Him all the glory and praise for all He is and all He does, the way He loves us and Provides for us!
