I have been reading Poverty Mentality. I was thinking to myself that nothing ever happens to me like these testimonies from the book. Well ladies, I have a PR (praise report) that sounds like it’s right from the book.

I have had on my list of things to do for a long time to buy my daughter some long pants for school. It is getting so cold outside, especially in the morning. Yesterday we happen to be out so it came to my thoughts to go shop for some because she is with me and she can try them on. We stopped at a store I usually do not go to. We found $5 stretchy pants for her!! I was in awe!! $5 at her age and size is rare. She is almost 10 years old and the bigger she gets the more pricier the clothes get. Then we looked for jeans, which is hard to do because she is becoming a curvy girl and I know how hard it is to find jeans that fit right and feel good too.

I saw a sign where I saw jeans for her size and we walked there. I picked up the jeans and they felt so stretchy and soft. I showed them to her and her face lit up!! She tried them on and they fit her perfectly!! They covered her completely and felt so comfortable, even when she moved, sat and bent down!! We wanted to get a blue and a black pair so they can be matched with multiple colored tops she already has for school. We looked at the price and I said oh my!! I asked the girl that worked there if there were any sales for those jeans. She said no, there was NOT ANY sale for ANY pants right now.

We talked about it and I said we should be grateful and thank our Lord for these pants. We will get one pair and be thankful. She agreed and we went to the front counter. On the way I saw some sunglasses. They had a clearance sticker on them for just $5. There was the same glasses in a different color that I really liked but they did not have the clearance sticker. Something in my ear was saying to me I should just change the sticker because they are the exact same pair and it was probably just a mistake. But I felt my HH (Heavenly Husband) with me near by saying that this would not please Him. I said, I will take them both up to the counter and ask.

When the lady was adding our total together I asked her about the sunglasses. The girl next to her cut in and said no they cannot give them for the clearance price. I explained they are the exact same glasses just a different color and they were the last ones of that color. She said no. The lady asked if I still wanted them and I said I would not be taking them but thank you. I told my HH (Heavenly Husband) that it wasn’t His Will for me to have them and I’m okay with that.

As she continued to scan the pants she picked up the jeans and said, you know if you go get another pair you will pay half price for a second pair. Me and my daughter looked at each other and smiled! I sent her back for the second pair that we put back. As we waited for her to return the lady smiled and said to me that she will honor the clearance price on the sunglasses as well. I asked her if she was sure about this and she said yes. I smiled and thanked her so much!!

Just like that ladies, my daughters Heavenly Father blessed her with some perfect jeans. And my Loving Husband blessed me with the half price of the jeans and with some new sunglasses that He saw I liked on our way out.

He provided these for us! He loves us and wants to bless us! He provides us with what we need and with our hearts desire!! He is so good and loving! He takes care of us all the time!

On our way out, walking arm in arm to the car, with big smiles on our faces, we thanked our Lord—

Thank You My Love and Heavenly Father for providing this wonderful mother—daughter time for us. Thank you for leading us to this store and letting us find the perfect pants for your precious daughter. Thank You for blessing me with a new pair of sunglasses and for making the price of both the glasses and pants be less than expected. You are our Provider and You are so good and so faithful to take care of us.
