Hello my dear brides,
I can´t wait to praise my Beloved and give Him all the glory for blessing me as a mom without having children on my own.
Last Saturday while I was working on my computer, I got a message from my youngest nephew who needed a special favor. Before going to details, let me give you some feedback. I have only one sister who has 2 sons who happen to be my only two Godsons. Although I was asked to become Godmother for other children I never accepted as I took the commitment very seriously.
Due to several circumstances, I have a very good relationship with my oldest nephew who lives with my mom, but unfortunately not the same with the youngest one, who lives in the countryside close to my sister and 1.5 hrs driving from where I live.
So back to that Saturday, my youngest nephew David asked me if I could accompany him to a store where they rent wedding suits as he is getting married on December 25th.
I had a lot of work to catch up, but tried to do the most urgent and met him in my mom's house. We went together to a shopping mall and before getting there he said: you know auntie, I have never wore a suit and I would like to look like the groom doll at the top of the cake and you are the only person who I trust can help me choose what I want. I was so touched by his words that I said, well I do not know much about suits but let´s trust the Lord, He will help us. Let´s go to the shopping mall to see brand new suits and get your size before we go to the rental store, so we have a good idea. David was extremely excited, he asked to start with a Department store. We went in and the Lord led me directly to the Suits area. I found a very nice color suit and asked David to try on just to see what size he was. I could not believe it, the suit fit perfectly to David, it was like the suit had his name and he was in love of it.
I turned my head to the saleswoman to ask the price and to our surprise the suit was on sale. The regular price was about $350 and because of the Black Friday sale, the price was only $80. David could not believe what he just heard and I was jumping of joy so I say to David: you see what the Lord just did for you? He is happy because you are going to get married and He wants to bless you with a brand new suit for your wedding.
Due to that huge discount, the Lord helped me to bless my nephew to have the complete wedding outfit and look like the groom doll of the cake top. A desire of his heart.
Because I have no children on my own I never dreamed with the opportunity to go out and prepare someone´s wedding outfit which is a very special moment for moms, but the Lord blessed me with that gift through my Godson. Amazing right? Well not for Him who has overcome the world.
My dear brides, let´s remember that for God nothing is Impossible.
We just need to trust Him and keep our eyes on His Face so the evil does not come to steal our joy.
