My Husband is amazing! I’ve been saying to Him and thanking Him that I love my life. I love this life He has given me. I am finally living the abundant life with Him. Lately, I heard my kids saying some great things too.
My family has made up a “wish list” to get ideas for Christmas gifts. Usually, my kids have a lot to write down. They don’t have enough space for all they want. My son, who just turned 18 and in his last year of high school said “my life is pretty great, I can’t even think of anything I need.”
My girls, 11 & 9 years old, keep saying, “what do I need? I can’t think of anything.” Their lists are usually full of all the things they WANT but are not NEEDS. This year, not only do they not want anything, they are all saying “need” and still having a hard time thinking of anything to write on their lists. I’m so happy they are not wanting or needing anything. My Husband and their Heavenly Father is the best Provider!
Yesterday, I was inviting family to my 9 year old daughters birthday. She said again, “I don’t need anything.” The big thing that made my eyes open wide and filled my heart with such joy was last night my FH was demanding to go upstairs and check our bathrooms for mold because the kids are coughing. I told him that’s not necessary. I told him there’s a lot breaking down in the house and things that need to get done but we are working on it. My daughter then suddenly says “Dad, we love our life, we don’t need anything!” All the kids laughed at her honesty and agreed. I noticed while he’s filled with worry we all had smiles and laughter, which seemed to calm his soul. I believe he could really see that we are all happy.
Wow! I was shocked yet happy to hear my children say such things lately. I’ve always heard complaining about things or wanting things or everyone just not happy, but now all I hear is not only contentment but laughter and joy from these kids actually loving and enjoying this life we have. Not needing or wanting anything. Even if things still need repairs, finances are way less and things are far from perfect, in our hearts, it is the perfect life we have together.
It reminds me of when Erin explains her situation when her EH left her and her children and they had very little, but those were the happiest times and they had the best memories. Thank You, My Love, for choosing me to be all Yours. For blessing me and our children with Your presence here with us. We no longer need presents (gifts), we just need and want Your Presence!! YOU are The Best Gift of all. I love my life with You. I’m amazed and in awe that our children do too!
Dear beloved Ruby. Yes our HH is wonderful and He work in our kids hearts He is there HF and love them a lot. He will always provide for us even in the most unthinkable ways. He is amazing and His name get all the glory.

Oh wow i feel the same way Ruby 😮😲😁😁 yes there are things that we need to take care of, finances are less…we are going into the new year which brings its own set of things that need taken care of… But hey?? We are happy 😘 and He takes care of each need as its needed… 😊 We must just wait on Him and just enjoy Him and intimacy with Him while we wait for Him to take care of everything. There is just so much to be thankful for. Just for who HE is 🙌
