I have always had the habit of writing the lyrics of songs down because I really love to sing but I do not know if I actually have the voice that can be used in the worship team. So I did the next best thing and would write the lyrics down of songs that I really like which was mainly worship and I would sing them on my 50-minute walk to and from the gym.
Because the Lord is my Beloved it was not strange that I would think of Him whenever I would hear a love song. This song became one of my favourites sung by a well known South African artist that is now deceased but that I loved many many years ago. These are the lyrics to the love song depicting my relationship with my Beloved right now:
I am the eagle You’re the Wind.
You are the power in my life
You’re the starlight in the night
You’re the reason for my flight
Youย are the dawning of my day.
You’re the light upon my way
I am the eagle You’re the wind
Only You know what love can be
You alone give that feeling to me
You are the heavens where I fly
You’re the sunshine in my sky
I am the eagle You’re the wind
You are the feathers in my wings
You’re the song I wanna sing
I am the Eagle You’re the wind
You are the breath I long to breath
In Your love, I can believe
You are all of life to me
Youย are the fire and the flame
Without You, I live in vain
I am the eagle You’re the Wind
Isaiah 40:31 NKJV “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
We are waiting on the Lord and He is the Wind beneath our wings…and all of life to us.
There is nothing in our lives that He is not part of or that He should not be part of. I love The One that gave me breath…
Another short praise report from Mercyโฆ.
During April this year over a million South Africans gathered to pray for South Africa. The retelling of the story was set in a book documenting the day and the powerful testimonies that changed lives. I just won the book in a competition. Thank You, my Beloved Husband.
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.โ Matthew 18:20 NKJV
