♕ Today's Promise: "You need to inculcate it in your children and talk to them about it when you are in your house and when you are on your way, when you go to sleep and when you get up." Deuteronomy 6:7
We did the lesson last week in our Wise Woman Fellowship: The Ways of Her Household and I want to give my Heavenly Husband ALL the Praise and Honor.
When I just got married, I did not want children. I also would never have thought that I would want to work from home. It was nice for me to be among a lot of people.
Wow, how the Lord has changed me and what I really want to tell you is the fruits of that change. Today I work from home and as you already know I also homeschool my children.
My son is always on his own and as soon as there are three or more people around him, he pulls back completely, choosing to not participate in the conversation. As a result, the only time he really talks is when he's alone with someone he knows very well.
Last weekend we went to visit my sister for the first time in 6 months. We all talked and when the kids went out to play then my sister told me she could not believe how much my son had changed!
Where before he would just smile shyly when they say something to him he now answers them in conversation and even makes jokes with them!
Because I'm in his company all the time, I did not really notice the change, but when I really sat down and talked to my Heavenly Husband about it, He showed me how He is changing my son and preparing him for the future that He has planned for him.
"You need to inculcate it in your children and talk to them about it when you are in your house and when you are on your way, when you go to sleep and when you get up." Deut. 6: 7
This is a verse from the lesson [The Ways of Her Household] and I know that a big part of my son's change is because we have the opportunity to bring the Lord into our conversations every day and His word is what brings the change.
