LALTour “I Had my RMI Family to Support Me :)”

As you already know from Sara´s PR (Friday #LALBrides in Austria now Venice!!!), Sara and Tara had been visiting me at my home…I had wanted to write this PR a week ago, but somehow, I felt I needed to wait. And there was an obvious reason: He had some more praise in store!

Since I was divorced, I have been dreading situations, when I should meet my FH and his family. And since my FH has a girlfriend, it is even worse.

My older son was set to have his first communion this year, and honestly, I have been praying hard so that He would not let it happen. But our dear Husband had another plan in store, for us to praise and glorify Him.

Actually, it first looked like my son would not be able to attend. He failed to tell us to register him online for the event. And when his father realized it, it was too late. However, his father managed to have him join another group of young children…

Ever since I learned that David would take his first communion and the exact date, I have been in turmoil. The devil was very keen to make me unsettled. When I thought I had enough strength to attend the event, the enemy used my son to tell me that my son’s outfit for the day had been purchased by my FH and his girlfriend together.

But our Loving Husband is good and supporting. He arranged that Tara and Sara would be in Slovakia the weekend of the first communion. And then, He put on my FMIL’s heart the desire to see me attend the event. She was very insisting on the phone, and she invited to the ceremony only people I had been close to (and my FH´s girlfriend was not coming). And then Tara wrote, that they would love to meet my children, and that was it!! My FMIL invited Sara and Tara to the ceremony and the dinner taking place after. And I had my RMI family to support me 🙂

Tara and Sara were so fantastic, I would not have managed without them! They helped with the bags and my disabled son´s pushing chair. They looked after him, while I was making videos. Deep inside, I was a wreck. I was trying to smile, but I only wanted to cry, when in front of my FH and his family. I was sure my uneasiness was obvious for everyone to see, but Tara assured me that it was not. After the ceremony and before the dinner took place, I had to go to my closet and settle down, while Tara and Sara looked after my younger son.

And then today, a female colleague called after me at work. Her daughter had attended the same first communion ceremony as my son. She ran to me and told me that she had to tell me something. Her mother had talked to her of a woman that was very beautiful and radiant at the ceremony. And guess what? She was talking about me!! I could not believe it at first, but then I realized… It was His doing! The day before, with Sara and Tara, we kept giving praise about our Sweet Husband and how He was impacting our lives. We shared incredible testimonies. Our whole day revolved around Him and us praising Him and fellowshipping. And it was to see on my face the day after!!! “Those who look to Him are radiant, their face are never covered in shame” (Psalm 34:5).

Is it not incredible, how He works in our lives and uses situations that look impossible at first for His Glory? Only He can do it…I can still not believe it…!!

“I will extol the Lord at all times;

his praise will always be on my lips.

I will glory in the Lord;

let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

Glorify the Lord with me;

let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me;

he delivered me from all my fears.

Those who look to him are radiant;

their faces are never covered with shame.

This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;

he saved him out of all his troubles.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,

and he delivers them.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;

blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”

Psalm 24:1-8  NIV

“As a mother comforts her child,

so will I comfort you;

and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”

When you see this, your heart will rejoice

and you will flourish like grass;

the hand of the Lord will be made known to his servants,

but his fury will be shown to his foes.”

Isaiah 66:13-14 NIV

“Shout for joy to God, all the earth!

Sing the glory of his name;

make his praise glorious.”

Psalm 66:1 NIV
