Feeling like a Bride – EncouragingWomen.ORG

This Praise Report is about how wonderful my Beloved HH is to me. Today the electricity went off which happens every now & again… It will go off for a few hours and you just never know the time it will go on… Usually, this is very frustrating for me but He worked it out so perfectly for me this time 🙂

He led me to get an early start spending time with Him & then quickly whizzing through my household chores I was able to get an early start on my Ministry work…

Then our electricity went off suddenly with no warning… I was feeling quite tired due to staying up quite late doing some work the previous evening. So… He led me beside those still waters and I lay my head down talking to Him & quickly fell asleep. I had a wonderful afternoon nap. My 3 yr old fell asleep beside me 🙂

Waking up, the electricity still had not come on so He led me to do my nails. I hardly spend time doing my nails but they were in need of some urgent attention as well as my feet. While doing my nails speaking to Him He showed me I was HH bride and needed to feel this way too, which means taking care of myself as a bride and feeling like a bride! Refreshed and with nails that have been taken care of!

He always amazes me with how He Leads me and makes me feel special in the small things we take for granted. There are so many ways He wants to take care of us but the 1st step is ACKNOWLEDGING Him, listening for Him, which provides the intimacy we so desperately need as women with Him because only He can provide what we truly need.

The other thing I would like to share is how whatever I face in life on a daily basis. If I allow Him to work it out & just speak with Him about it asking Him the questions how He works it out so simply. Also just being in the word daily having His word stored up in my heart I have faith to know He will work whatever it is out and He does! All I have to do is chat with Him about it 🙂 Simple!

So dear bride don’t hesitate to start developing that intimacy with Him in your daily life in everything that you do!

He restores us (physically, mentally and emotionally) as we develop intimacy by speaking with Him.
