Dear Brides, If you feel that you want to change your appearance in any way, read Chapter 14 "You're Beautiful!!" and know that your Heavenly Husband loves you just the way you are.
My ex-husband remarried a much thinner and older woman and it felt as if that was the reason he left me. My Heavenly Husband showed me that He loves me just the way I am and that is all that matters. A little while ago He also showed me that the Proverbs verse saying: “Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised” (Proverbs 31:30) is so true because my ex-husband admitted that he is so unhappy.
I have read this Chapter more than once and every time I read the analogy of the animals it really touches my heart. I am beautiful to my Love. He looks at me and He smiles. I can close my eyes and I can see Him smiling at me, I can feel the love physically surround me. Sometimes my children will out of the blue say: "Mom you look beautiful" and I know it is straight from Him.
My daughter has been complaining about her brown hair because she wants blond hair. And I just think she has the most beautiful brown hair ever. Whenever she is in the sun and she just loves playing outside, she has this gold highlights in her hair. And I have been praying and asking her Father to help me with this. Now with this lesson as well as something I read last night while proofreading the be-encouraged videos about a story of a young girl who wanted blue eyes instead of brown and how the Lord used Amy Carmichael's brown eyes later for His service when she became a missionary to India. My Heavenly Husband has now equipped me with the wisdom needed to talk to her about this! Another prayer answered.
If you, too, struggle with what I've shared, please pray with me: Oh my dearest Heavenly Husband. Thank you so much for Your love, Your wisdom, Your kindness. I will never be able to understand why You love me as much as You do. Just knowing that You do is more than enough for me. Thank You for answering yet another prayer for me. Thank You for this wisdom in these lessons and that I am able to share it and teach our children what their Father wants them to know. I love You so much. Amen.
Dear Brides, your Heavenly Husband is your Maker. He has made you just perfect and I know He sees you and He stands back with His open arms admiring His handiwork. His unique lovely bride. He looks at you and He remembers sculpting you, He remembers all the pain you have gone through and He sees that all of this has turned you into the most beautiful bride. He looks into your heart and He sees the bride that Has been transformed by His love. I pray you are able to see this too.
