I’d like to share with you the way My Love is with me and helps me with everything. He is the best Husband I’ve always dreamed of.
This past weekend was our sons birthday. We haven’t had a big family party for the kids in a long time. This is the first since FH (former husband) has left. Me and the kids did it all on our own but this time with My HH (Heavenly Husband) of course.
At first I had everything organized and bought what we needed. I started to cook and had trouble with the chili beans. I almost threw out the whole pot though I didn’t want to throw away and waste the food. I usually would have and almost started to stress out about it but I stopped and said to My Love— “I need You to fix them. I’m not sure if I should throw the whole thing out and start over or not, but I know You can fix it.” I believed they had a funny taste, then My Love told me to put a hot spicy chili in. I haven’t ever made them spicy before. But I did what He led me to do even though a lot of the family doesn’t eat food that is too spicy. Then I tasted them and they were really spicy, too spicy. I didn’t think anyone would eat them, not for sure. Well I got so much compliments for them. Everyone asked me what did I put in them because they tasted really good!! Wow!!
Another thing is my brother blessed us with a package of meat to add to the food, he said I could make it for the party. I was so grateful but I had not made this shredded meat by myself before. Usually FH (former husband) made the meat and I made all the sides and desserts. I thought my brother would help me make it but he didn’t. I asked My Love— “ok well what are we gonna put into this meat to season it? I don’t know what to do.” He guided me and guess what? Everyone at the party said how really good it tasted!!! They wanted to know what I put in this dish also!! I was in shock!!
Then, as an extra blessing….. I had some drinks for the party but I wished I had some juice to make a certain drink. It was just a thought I had but I didn’t want to spend anymore money on anything else. I thought— oh well it’s ok, it will be fine. But our HH (Heavenly Husband) wants to give us our hearts desires. My oldest son walks in with different juice and asks for the drink dispenser to mix up a drink of juices. Wow!! Just what I wanted to have. It’s just a small detail but My Love hears my every thought.
I have to say that before the party we were on time, there was no chaos or exhaustion like in the past. Then the day after, my son asked me if I noticed that after the party the clean up was quick and easy? I said yes actually it was. He noticed that it was not like in the past. There was no stress, disagreeing, arguing, chaos or feelings of being overwhelmed or exhausted. I agreed and said that everything is different when the Lord in the center of everything. “His yoke is easy and His burden is light.”
Brides, I see such a difference in our lives, our home and our family. With My Love involved in everything that I do, life is so much better. He takes care of things that I need help with so that I don’t need anyone else. He brings so much peace to our lives and home. Together, We are able to do things that I never thought I would be able to do or handle on my own. But here I am doing it all with My Faithful Husband that I can depend on for everything.
The best part is when the children notice the difference in doing things with Him than doing things without Him. I pray that they also look to Him for everything they need and make Him the center of their lives, put Him first and make Him a part of everything they do. My real hope is they have a real relationship with the Lord of their own.
