Today I want to share how my Love is working in my daughter’s life. As my children get older I pray that they will follow the ways of the Lord and learn to have their own personal relationship, knowing they cannot live off of my experiences, but make their own. My daughter has been expressing how her heart has been seeking Him and He so graciously has been answering many of her prayers. This brings me joy because I want her to know my HH is real and having Him in her life is having everything.
Well, a small challenge came in her life where she was being pressured by many people around her to DO something with the court system to GET what they say was entitled to her. She had all the paperwork ready, but she says something inside of her told her NO. She struggled for many weeks and then she called me. She shared with me and I just listened in an “understanding way.” Of course, I led her to continue to seek God because He is our mighty Counselor and then I was able to share some of my testimony and teachings from the Abundant Life series. I told her that there comes a point in our life where we have to decide if we are going to do as the world or truly believe that He is our ultimate Provider and trust in Him.
I shared that we say we trust in Him but it is in our actions and obedience in His Word that shows Him we really do. Also that these are the opportunities that if she surrenders them to Him, He will show her His mighty hand and give her above what she could ever imagine.
Days later she called me that once again He has amazed her! She was hired with a teaching position from 8am-3pm, perfect since her daughter is in school at that time and her daddy agreed to take her to school in the mornings. Last Monday was her daughter’s first day of school and all of her school supplies and clothing were taken care of. She agreed to trust in HIM!! Aleluya!
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. Psalm 118:8
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Selah Psalm 62:8
O Israel, trust the LORD! He is your helper and your shield. Psalm 115:9
