Wow, this praise report is so long overdue! Due to my own foolishness, my eldest daughter and I did not really have a relationship, and conversation between us was minimal with a message here and there on our cellphones, never a call or anything like that. She lives in another city and it takes 45 minutes by air to get there. At the beginning of this year, things started changing where she would send me a message practically every dayβthat was in itself enough to praise the Lord for!
She contacted me late January and asked if I wanted to visit and cat sit her two kitties while they spent a weekend away with friends. I said yes of course, but what came next was unexpected; She asked if I wanted to stay a week longer to spend time with her! I broke down crying…as I had prayed for a restored relationship for a while now. And God had just proved His faithfulness to me..once again…She purchased the plane tickets and the date was set.
From there things just got better…during my stay she made sure that we did something just about every day. She spoiled me with dinners, lunches even bought me a lovely top …had a beauty treatment too!. But it was the little things that counted the most: she made me my favorite breakfasts…..bought me my favorite sweets things that she had remembered from her childhood. What an amazing time we had.
I am so grateful to this Ministry for teaching me about restoration and how it can be applied to each and every situation in our lives. I am so grateful to my loving Heavenly Father to whom all the honor and the praise goes for this wonderful miracle. May I always continue to look at Your face and feel Your hand of blessing on my life and the lives of my loved ones. You are a good, good Father ..I love you…
Matthew 7:11 NKJV “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
God knew in my heart how desperate I was to have a loving relationship with my daughter. Just as much as He longs for us to have loving relationships with him. The greatest that has come of this experience is that I turned out to be a gift to my daughter by giving her Scriptural advice as a married woman on how to treat her husband. Something I will treasure forever. That is me being evil but still able to give my daughter a good gift. The gift of wisdom.
