Last night my sister came over being in distress again with her EH (earthly husband). I have spoken many times with her about this and shared the ministry website and even given her my own RYM (Restore Your Marriage) book. She didn’t seem to have any hope and didn’t start reading. Things remain the same and kept getting worse. Last night she told me all that happened the last few days and I listened.
She also told me about her sister-in-law that has separated from her husband a month ago. When my sister told me about this I was shocked. I saw them a while back (earlier on in my journey) when we were together at my sisters house. I remember seeing her and her recent husband together and even feeling a bit jealous. I would hear her call him “love” when she spoke and saw smiles on their faces, laughing and having a good time. At that time in my journey I would look at other couples and feel a little jealous. Now I don’t because I have more than that without all the flaws and stress of an EH. I have the Perfect Husband.
My sister happened to be there the night her husband left. There was a big argument between the couple and her 3 adult children with her new husband in front of all the family and they separated right then and there. There was so much problems on top of problems and it was obvious that the issues had been going on for a long time before this and got so much worse. When I heard this I was in shock. This was nothing like what was portrayed the night I saw the couple. My Love showed me there is never a need to be jealous of anyone. Things are not EVER what they seem.
I asked My Love what He wants me to say to my sister. He needs to speak to her not me.
The conversation started the same, blaming her EH (earthly husband) but then I asked her how is she doing with praying to the Lord about this? She said she’s probably not praying as much as she should. We started to talk about this and she started describing that she’s been trying to surrender to The Lord because she just can’t do it anymore. She doesn’t have the energy to argue or even care about it. It seems she is being more quiet and walks away from the confrontation. Which is a great first step for her. She has been telling the Lord to “deal with it, this is His problem now because she just can’t do it anymore” I was so happy and agreed with her.
I encouraged her to keep surrendering to the Lord and calling on Him to take over. Give it all to Him, only He can do it, we can’t. Nothing her EH is doing will make any sense. So there’s no need to try to make sense of it. It is all lies from the enemy. Ask The Lord to cover the lies of the enemy and tell you His Truth.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." James 1:5
I suggested she ask The Lord to cleanse her heart and help her to have forgiveness for her EH (earthly husband). Not to see it as him being the one doing these things. He is not in control of his actions at all, it is the enemy doing these things. Her EH is not her enemy. So try to have compassion on Him because he is a slave to the enemy and to drinking right now. He is a prisoner. But The Lord is the One who breaks all chains and tears down prison walls. He holds the victory!!
We ended our conversation talking about The Lord and all He can do. I tried to do this other times but I didn’t feel she had hope and just listened but didn’t hear. This time her words told me she is turning her heart to The Lord and she has hope that He is with her. Praise The Lord!! Hallelujah!!
Thank You My Love, for planting a seed in her heart and now you are helping it grow. Just like You are the water, sun light and soil that seed needs to grow, You are our Living Water, our Light in the darkness and our Daily Bread that our souls need.
"The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it." Matthew 13
Sometimes our words fall on deaf ears. When we try to plant a mustard seed it falls on the rocks or in the thorns and bears no fruit. But if we have faith and let God work, eventually, in His timing, it will fall in the good soil of our hearts where it can then start to grow.

Thank You, My Love, for softening my sisters heart, for turning my sisters hardened heart into a heart of flesh. You can do all things!! You are the God of miracles!!
