♕ Today's Promise: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
From ~ Rut-Ester in Puerto Rico
Dear Brides, I want to share with you how my Beloved Heavenly Husband took care of me today. I had a terrible nightmare regarding my earthly husband that woke me up and I couldn’t sleep well after it. This nightmare was so emotionally wrenching that it made me sick to my stomach. When I finally got out of bed in the morning, I was tired, didn’t have much of an appetite and was so drained. I was sad. I fasted breakfast and spent my morning with my Love. I used my 3x5 cards to get myself out of the pit and turn my face to my Heavenly Husband. Initially I thought it was the enemy messing with me. Now, I think my Beloved was setting me up for His blessings.
Later, my mom messaged me wanting to visit. I did not want to see anyone but my Love led me to invite her and she visited while my little ones were playing in their pool. It was a great time for my kids and it made it easier for me having another set of eyes watching them while they played. My Love knew how to make my day easier and light. Mom got us lunch and had my mother-in-law visit as well. My kids were so happy with both their grandmothers there. Then, when everyone left, earthly husband texted asking if we had dinner yet. We hadn’t, so he ordered food and came here to eat.
My Beloved knows me well and got me company even when that was the last thing I wanted. This helped me let go of the feelings I had in the morning, distracting me with His care and attention. He made sure I wasn’t in a pit of sadness and reminded me that I am loved and cared for by Him. He made me feel so special, like the gentleman He truly is.
Sweet Husband, You continue to amaze me. You know me so well and have showed me so much attention today in all your details. Thank you for being so loving to me. Thank you that I can give all my cares to You and You give me rest. You’re all I live for.
Beautiful Bride, those hard days when we want to curl up and cry, those are the perfect days to seek your Heavenly Husband’s face. I encourage you to Turn to Him, speak His Word and take all your cares to Him. He will strengthen you and give you rest.
