The Blessings Are Still Arriving

β™• Today's Promise: β€œWhoever serves Me must follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves Me.” John 12:26

Due to work circumstances while attending things for the Lord, in the last few days I have been in contact (more than once) with the HTBB lesson called Name Them One by One .

I have always been a reserved and shy person so honestly, I doubted before sharing this PR but then I recalled when Erin said in another Lesson that the enemy also attacks us by letting us think that we need to be extremely discreet and when that happens he stealing from us the blessing of helping others.

"Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God" 2 Timothy 1:8

By the end of last year, I made a trip to USA to see an elder person who I consider my mentor. Unfortunately, he passed away 8 months after that but my HH gave the opportunity to see him for the last time. When his daughter announced the news to me, I was sad but very happy for him. He owned a company where I used to work and many people in my country worked with him too. One of them was a lady lawyer who happens to be the one who married me. (I first got married with a lawyer and 1 month after we had our church ceremony and started to live together).

The thing is that an inner voice told me to give her the news about his death and to my surprise, she was just coming back from a Cancer surgery. We were not too close but we worked together a long time, so I asked her if I could visit her when she was back home. The days passed and one day at home my inner voice started to say: Call her, so I sent her a text message saying that I was happy to help her for anything she needed. That message opened the communication door. She said she needed to go to the bank but needed some help, so I understood the voice message: It was him sending me to help.

God blessed my mom to survive from breast cancer 31 years ago so I am kind of familiar with the process and I told her that, so she could feel comfortable around me while on her Chemotherapy. We have been out several times, not just for medical appointments but also for distraction, and we see each other once per week to practice French, time when we laugh a lot.

She grew up knowing about the Word and the Lord so every time we go out, we spend part of our hours together to share the Lord greatness and how he is wonderfully working on us, but the thing is that the first time we went out, with her eyes full of tears she said to me: "I am sure God has a purpose for you to be here, keep your arms wide open because he will pour countless blessings for you".

Today I think the Lord used her to gave me those words because the blessings are still arriving to my life one by one (food, income, health, clothing, etc) and I am afraid I am loosing the count of them. I am sure He will help me to make a list of them in a new Praise Report.

John 10:27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me"

We need to keep believing and pay attention to that inner voice. He has wonderful plans for us, better that we can imagine. Blessings!

Isaiah 55:8 β€œFor My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.

Proverbs 8:32-34 β€œNow therefore, O sons, listen to me, For blessed are they who keep my ways. β€œHeed instruction and be wise, And do not neglect it. β€œBlessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my doorposts.”
