But I have this against you,that you have left your first love.
I didn't know Him as my first love, I knew Him as the Lord my Savior, Healer, Provider. I wish I have learned that He must be our first love. First in everything. When I was younger.
When I learned that He must be my first love, first in everything, my life started to change. I also teach my daughter that He must be her First Love that she must love Him first before anyone else and that He must be first in our life. I also teach her to talk to Him first thing when she wake up. If I don't speak to Him first thing when I wake up, say thank you for a new day and everything, and talk to Him about what is on my heart at that moment, it feels like my morning doesn't start right.
I also experience the difference when I listen and sing along with worship songs and love songs to Him. I even tell my mother to listen because He loves me in the same way than her and that she will also experience it in a special way.
