No Human Could Have Loved Me

This morning I want to praise the Lord for never allowing me to have an ePartner or a Prayer Partner since I started my Restoration Journey in 2016, over two years ago. I have been pleading with Him, begging Him to show me that woman who will believe with me. I have looked in the faces of my acquaintances and of many women trying to “recognise” my partner. But still, I am traveling alone.

I have cried many times to You, my God, begging You to bring that “special friend” to me. But Your answer has always been: “You do not have a prayer partner because you don’t need one.”

I Praise You, my God because You want me to rely solely on You. You want to be my unique source of strength and comfort. You want me to accept my HH as my most faithful companion. I may think that I am ready to have an ePartner but You know best. When it comes to spiritual life, to Your things, I cannot have my way. I believe You don’t allow me to have a prayer partner because this will do no good to me nor to her (at least for the moment). You know my weaknesses my Creator and You have already assigned me a duty for Your daughters.

I also believe My God, that You don’t want me to be encouraged by fellowshipping with a woman. You want to fully strengthen me so that later I can help others.

I may not have a fellow human, I have YOU by my side so I have everything!! I know very well that YOU are the One helping me to carry on. No human could have helped me to stand on my feet all those times I fell. No human could have loved me that much all those times I was tempted to give up. No one can guide me so patiently by my side. Who else better than You knows my heart?

Forgive me, forgive my complaints and my ingratitude. Forgive my blindness.

Dear brides, the Lord is by our sides. He is the one we need the most. And as Michele says in the Finding Abundant Life book, each time we experience pain, it means that we need more of Him. We need to get closer to Him. Never get discouraged. And when you feel very weak, just rest in His loving arms and trust Him. Jesus knows what each of us is going through.

John 15:5-8 The Message “I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire. But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who he is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples."

"A Church without Walls"

Restoration Fellowship is moving to a new site, and along with this move comes exciting new weekly messages currently being written. But first, our HH led us to go through the first series again—a series of short Living Lessons many of us had been longing to read again.

Whether you are a Fellowship member or would just like to visit and come away encouraged, we hope you enjoy this Wednesday's Weekly Living Lesson—posting each and every Wednesday.

*If you missed last week's post, we'd suggest starting at Week 1 and give yourself a full week, allowing Him to drench you in the dew of its truth.

“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul.”
—Psalm 23: 1-3
