♕ Today's Promise: “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.” Psalm 127: 3-5
I don't want to pass up this opportunity to praise my Heavenly Husband for his sweetness and care. This is not a testimonial about something He did in me, but about how He has used what has happened in my life to bless my sister, who embraced the RMI materials and decided to apply them to her marriage. A year ago we were both looking for the book in Spanish on “supernatural childbirth” that the ministry recommends because we were both looking forward to being mothers. At that time I was living with her and her husband, so we had a lot of time to share, that is also the pandemic and we had much more time together, which we thanked God because it was a beautiful time. Then we found the book on the Amazon page, however, it was too expensive, so we were waiting for changes, one day we found that there were only two units at a special discount price, we were happy! When I went to buy it I asked a dear friend for the favor to send them to Colombia and she kindly bought them and sent them all as a gift, this was very special for us and we know that it was our Beloved providing us with the shipping time. It was long and we soon learned that my sister was pregnant, however the book arrived in time for my sister to read it during her pregnancy.
At the end of that year, when my sister was in her fifth month of pregnancy, it was when I finally met my husband in the other country, which meant a “separation” with my sister, and her heart's desire was that I could meet to his baby, and he felt sad because I was leaving the country and because the pandemic complicated everything. However, we cheered ourselves up thinking that God was in control.
The doctors said that the delivery would be approximately the last week of January, so we think it would be very unlikely that I could be there. We traveled to Colombia the last days of December and we hoped to return to the Dominican Republic in mid-January. Once in Colombia we saw how the controls due to the increase in contagions became more restrictive and due to a problem with the visa, my husband thought that it was best to advance the trip, so we were doing everything possible to travel as soon as possible when we left. Suddenly one day before our trip I received the message that my sister was in labor, my husband postponed the trip hoping to see the baby, which I had thought was impossible because I did not want to be a source of possible contagion, since I was in contact with many people in the airports. But my Beloved knows how to fulfill the desires of our heart! And he allowed my sister so that we could see them, what He put in my heart was to visit them in the hospital, and when they were in the car to be able to approach them and talk there, so that the baby would be protected as much as they. So it was, and it was very nice and exciting for us that we knew that He had orchestrated everything in that way.
Regarding the delivery I have to praise my Beloved, because as my sister and her husband prayed it was a quick delivery, she received a message from a friend at midnight with this verse: “The children we have are a gift from God. The children that are born to us are our reward ”(Psalms 127: 3), two and a half hours after the first contraction began, they went to the hospital where they arrived at 4:00 am once the doctors arrived they checked her and said She was about to be born so she immediately went to the delivery room, in an hour the baby was born. Dear ones, our Beloved is faithful and made it not a long labor. We can trust him, his promises and that he is taking care of us at all times. I know that many of us want to have a painless delivery, for this reason I wanted to share this testimony because it encouraged me personally and I hope it encourages you too. Our Beloved provides us with everything, so we only need to go to Him with our need and He will be there to supply it. Our Love is wonderful, my Beloved is a considerate, sweet and tender Husband, there is no one like Him!
