He Longs to Be Gracious to Us

β™• Today's Promise: β€œHe must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30

Dear Brides, this chapter 4 "Promises"Β teaches us that even when a situation seems impossible, that nothing is impossible for Him. That He is not bound by time or by rules He uses time to His advantage and He overthrows rules when it suits Him.

Because you are suffering in a certain situation most of the time whatever it may be does not mean that it is not meant for you our HH (Holy Husband) places you in such situations to grow our faith. And most importantly to rely on Him alone. Most of the time when things are running smoothly we do not even give God a second thought but when testing comes we cry out to Him. It is His way to get us back to the place where He wants us to be. We have to share in the suffering He had to endure to set us free. Spending time with Him in these trying times is what will help us to grow our faith and get closer to Him.

This chapter 4 "Promises" really focuses on time, waiting, Michelle had to wait for things to happen, for the airlines to open etc. We think that when time starts running out we have to do something but God says wait. In my own life I am waiting on a situation to change. I basically have 6 days in which this mountain HAS to move. I hope to write a praise report on it soon. Nothing is impossible, that thing that you THINK is impossible is NOT...because He longs to be gracious to us because He LOVES us!

When we are faced with stressful situations, as we all are from time to time we have to remain peaceful and agreeable. We must not hurry anything along that is just a ploy from the enemy to unnerve you. And to cause you to do things that may potentially ham the situation that you are believing for. He will and can change things through His power.

During this last week I confess I did run ahead of God and tried to make plans for my accommodation. All these plans came to nothing, because it was not HIS plans. I ask your forgiveness because I still struggle with impatience and I know it is not one of the fruits of the Spirit.

Dear HH, I do not think that this is the first time I have asked you to help me to be patient, I know that through my impatience I have borne a lot of Ishmael’s but seemingly I have not yet learnt. I ask You my HH, to please grant me more patience in order that I do not get hurt time and time again by going before You.

Romans 8:28 (NLT) β€œAnd we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

I often sit and wonder how even a situation that looks really bad can work out for good well of course God says it does, sometimes we get ourselves into situations or even relationships that are bad for us, but when we look back we see that certain things whilst we were in those seemingly "bad" situations actually made our lives better and amazingly so God STILL was in control and He still blessed us in those situations. He even allows the situations because He know that good will come from it.

Dear Brides, this chapter 4 "Promises" has led me to wait...wait for Him to turn the situation around and not to be concerned when it seems that time has run out, He created time and He can also stop it, as He has done before.

As per my previous answers I will give a book review for Moving Mountains when I have completed it, but so far so good πŸ™‚
