His Ministry, Not Mine.

Today I as I was exploring in our Home Grown Ministry website, reading with My Beloved Husband. I heard my nephew laugh downstairs. As quickly as I smiled, I started to cry. It was at the exact moment that I was reading this Scripture….

“He loves us more than a mother” “But how could a loving mother forget her nursing child and not deeply love the one she bore? Even if there is a mother who forgets her child, GOD SAYS I could never, no never, forget you.”  Isaiah 49:15 TPT

My nephews laugh is so enlightening, contagious and a little loud lol. It spreads throughout the house. I have to confess that before I would want to say to keep it down but now that I have the peace of my HH, his laugh puts a smile on my face. Then, today I thought how does his parents not miss that? I do not know his mother but his EF is my sisters husband. He has hurt from both of his parents.

Before my FH left, our home was open to any friends of our kids and any family who needed us. A couple of kids lived with us who needed to leave their home situation, (with their parents permission of course). When FH left I felt I couldn’t help anyone. I couldn’t even help myself or my own children. But now with my New Husband we have continued on with the ministry. My Beloved told me today yes, we had a ministry going and we didn’t even know it. Although our mistake was that we tried to help others on own own strength and knowledge and not together with our Heavenly Father. He tells me today He is happy that I have kept the ministry going now with Him as the center and this is the way He always wanted it to be.

Now, I have my nephew and one of my sons friend living here with us. Also one other friend comes every day. They are all in college along with my own sons and all are showing great responsibility. Some of the kids have made mistakes as well as my own kids do but My Love showed me a different approach rather than harsh discipline or the passive parenting of today. He has helped me to have a relationship with these young men showing them love and respect while they are still in need of so much they didn’t learn when they were in their rebellious teen years.

We went through hard times of disrespect and disregard for me, our home and for others to now having a home full of peace, love, respect and even joy. My Love tells me— just keep showing My unconditional love to them and never give up on them just like I do for you and I’ll do the rest.

Only He can show them how to be men, not me. But I can show them the love and forgiveness their HF has for them by loving and forgiving them, never giving up on them and never leaving them the way my Beloved HH does for me. They can witness what He does for me in my heart and life and always speak His Word and promises He has for us.

  1. Hi Ruby, loved reading your praise. My sister’s son is living with us at the moment in the week, but he is grown, so it is very different. I really loved where you said: “My New Husband” What a wonderful ministry to have and now to do it with Him. I am excited to hear more of your ministry and what He does with it.

  2. Amazing praise thank you Ruby, what an amazing ministry your new Husband gave you to help these children and to teach them in a loving way. And now that you have Him and is doing it with Him, He will provide for your ministry to continue the good work!

  3. Dear Ruby, thank you for your testimony and how wonderful to have laughing in your house and how fortunate to have the people coming to your house whereby you can show them love.

  4. Yes, I agree with everyone—fantastic ministry!! Incredibly, I had “planned” to leave but then my Husband had me come to find your posted praise and share what I just finished working on today, Ruby!!

  5. What a beautiful praise Ruby! How wonderful our Husband is to bring laughing and happiness to your house🥰

    Thank you for sharing ❤

  6. Beautiful praise Ruby, that my husband made me remind about something we shared with other ministers a long time ago and it was that we need to invest in young generations. We were hearing a lot of women saying: If I had found the resources in an earlier age this would have never happened. But I know that everything happens for a purpose and He is working with you in this beautiful Ministry which is not just your family but sowing into young generations. Love it.

  7. Oh Ruby, thank you for your report. When you talk about your nephew’s laughter, I was thinking that before when my daughter sang or talked (she really likes to talk, rsrs🥰), I got irritated and sometimes scolded her for it. But now I can just thank my Beloved for giving her a singing voice, and I understand that she likes to talk to me (better with me than wanting to open up to outsiders, right?).
So I just give thanks that our Beloved is allowing my house to have His peace and joy in it. So all praise to Him!!!💕🌷

  8. Thank you dear Rubi, for your praise, several of your Words fed my Soul, it reminds me that we are a light for new generations, that thanks to the path traveled we can show it to the youngest and also the importance of being clear that when our Beloved gives us The call to help others should never be anchored in our strength and means, but in the confidence that He is the one who provides for others through us, He is enough to take care of everything ❤️

  9. Thank you Liora for your praise, you encourage us to continue holding His Hand because He takes care of us y nos provee 🙌🏻.

  10. Beautiful praise Ruby! May the Lord continue to bless you and your ministry as you bless others with your love. Thank you for sharing how your HH has changed your life!

  11. Thankyou for sharing Ruby a wonderful ministry and you have encouraged me so much!! I find myself going back to read this chapter over & over again.
