I Claimed Triple and not Just Double

This is a very special Praise Report that I write today because my dear Love, my HH made a way for me to meet someone that I have been desiring to meet and had asked Him. I met with Yvonne in Durban South Africa and I have so much to tell you all about our wonderful weekend of fellowship together but mainly about our last morning together and how He not only blessed us DOUBLE but TRIPLE.

Let me start off by saying that He worked out everything to the last detail. My EH, my kids being looked after, everything. I even prayed that when I met Yvonne that it would be so natural, like how I feel when I spend time with my own sisters and that was exactly how it felt. Like I had met my sister. Years ago when Yvonne got in touch with me we had both already read the RYM book and started doing the RYM Course online so we had much to praise our wonderful HH about ALL the wonderful things that He had done for both of us along the years of our RJ.

He blessed us by staying in a flat overlooking the harbour, it had the most magnificent views during the day and at night. We had the most awesome view of ships and yachts moored in the harbour. On the last morning waking up I saw many cars pulling into the parking of the harbour and men in kilts. I showered and got dressed to the sound of bagpipes and was very interested to know what was happening. Soon I was joined by Yvonne and we decided to take a walk and see.

Just as we arrived in the parking Yvonne mentioned maybe it is St. Patrick's day and we had decided to just take my phone for some pictures, so we decided to check by googling but I had left my phone up in our flat! I felt so silly that we had to walk all the way back to get it! I told her that I was not only claiming DOUBLE but TRIPLE for my absent-mindedness.

Isaiah 61:7-8ย Instead of your shameย you will receive a double portion,ย and instead of disgraceย you will rejoice in your inheritance.ย And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,ย and everlasting joy will be yours.ย โ€œFor I, the Lord, love justice;ย I hate robbery and wrongdoing.ย In my faithfulness, I will reward my peopleย and make an everlasting covenant with them.

When we arrived back they were just about finishing off. It was a war memorial for our fallen heroes of the World War. ย I spoke to a woman asking her what they were commemorating and she told me about the ship named the SS Mendi that sunk tragically on the way to the front in France in World War I. The passengers were mainly black South Africans that were on their way to the front to help in the war effort as labourers behind the lines. It is an interesting and important piece of our South African history that I never knew about. I especially felt tearful when I read that for many of these men had never seen the ocean or knew how to swim, how calm and dignified they were in the minutes leading up to their death and especially the last words of the Minister which calmed them as they faced their death.

We also took a picture with and spoke to the Minister in the South African army and this was so poignant for us because it reminded us both of a book that we both read at the height of our marriage troubles which changed both of our lives and brought so much joy in the middle of our trials and tribulations named Prison to Praise by Merlin R Carothers, he too was a Chaplain in the US army. Reading this book was such a blessing because it teaches you to Praise in the middle of troubles, trials, and hardships and it is quite amazing and miraculous how He turns things around when we adopt the principle of PRAISE! Have a look on our devotionals page for more information about this book.

When I claimed triple and not just double for forgetting my cell phone He totally worked things out so amazingly for us to witness the ending of the memorial service. This was the first time that He showed me so vividly this principle about blessings overtaking you and claiming double which I read about in Living the Abundant Life Chapter 2 "Giving is the Secret" put into practice. So with a smile on my face and joy in my heart, I end off this very special Praise Report. Once again He exceeded my expectation with blessings beyond what I could ever dream or imagine :))

Ephesians 3:20ย Now unto him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
